I love to demystify complicated real estate and financial legal concepts and unwind problems for people who are frustrated with incompetent or dismissive real estate or banking "professionals."
I absolutely hate when people place themselves at a legal disadvantage -they find themselves spinning their wheels, "stuck" when they unknowingly rely on outdated or impractical information and forms found off the "internet." Nothing is worse than when people unwittingly base their decisions off of the "outside chatter" of people they hardly know, (or worse, friends or family members) who are NOT licensed attorneys and have no "skin in the game."
For the above reasons, I actively write, publish and create books, articles, podcasts, slide presentations and newsletters -all designed to simplify complicated legal concepts related to real estate and finance. I strive to make these user -friendly and practical legal resources and so that a person with legal concerns can understand how to reduce their legal liability and financial exposure in the real estate and debt arenas.
I am a hands-on real estate and finance attorney with over 27 years of experience. I successfully represent clients with issues concerning defaulted loans, mortgage servicing, rehabilitative real estate/loan workouts, land contracts, residential and commercial leases along with and complex loss mitigation for both commercial and residential loans.
As a "former bank insider" and real estate lawyer, I am a seasoned veteran in commercial and residential loan servicing and property disposition. I've been responsible for the well over a billion dollars in property transactions and have a unique practical working knowledge of both federal and state lending and servicing laws.
