Great Expectations – Exceeded

What’s your life’s work worth? I believe many of Alexandra and Michael’s clients are junior in time/grade in the military. That being the case, many of the posted reviews are from the perspective of younger Service Members or their parents. As a more ‘seasoned’ Service Member, I have spent over tw...o decades in uniform. That’s when I found my family and my life’s work under attack by false accusations. Highly competent legal representation by Gonzalez & Waddington, LLC was the only way we succeeded in saving both. Bottom line, “NOT GUILTY on all counts” was the truth and it is what the judge read from a panel of my peers at the conclusion of my trial. The alternative: unthinkable – incarcerated for over 30 years, sex offender registration for life, a dishonorable discharge, and a family destroyed…by lies and a system heavily weighted in favor of the alleged victim. Candidly, I did have Great Expectations of Alexandra and Michael. My expectations were exceeded! Is it expensive? – only if you mistakenly frame the cost as anything other than an investment…in you. Give yourself permission – YOU are worth it! The great people of Gonzalez & Waddington – Alexandra, Michael, and Sandra – were phenomenal through the entire process. Over a 14-month ordeal from first being notified by CID of an impending investigation until the end of a 3-day trial. All of this turmoil stemming from sexual assault allegations dating back years. The circumstances of the allegation and the actions of the alleged victim across the years until the trial are incredible and near beyond belief. I give you that insight to say that Alexandra, Michael, and our assigned Trial Defense Service (TDS) attorney had a very complex case to manage. Professional, smart, and caring accurately describe how they aided my family and me in preparing and fighting for our present lives and future dreams. We did our part to gather information/facts, submit our character witness list, and follow careful protocols of avoiding social media and not making statements or discussing our case with ANYONE outside of our legal team. Our level of input was matched or exceeded at every turn. Military law is complex; don’t fight it alone. You need the best legal representation to successfully work yourself out of the maze. You need Alexandra and Michael on your Team. Make the investment! I am forever indebted to them and happily recommend their services to anyone facing serious UCMJ charges. What’s your life’s work worth? Don’t squander another minute!

outstanding

Two years ago, I did my consultation with Alexandra I was under investigation for sexual assault by a crazy female that did not even know who her victim was and just wanted media attention, the case seemed almost never-ending. I began calling around asking attorneys what their advice was. Alexandra h...ad answered my phone call and gave me hope that this could go away she instantly took an interest in my case and started helping me while my TDS attorney did literally nothing for 2 years. by talking to her she sounded very educated and confident and concerned I than proceeded to hire her and her husband MR Waddington and got an outstanding outcome on my case they worked hand and hand if Mr. Waddington wasn't working on one thing she was doing another by advocating for me making sure I did not get screwd over. Although it was a huge misunderstanding about the fees I would not hesitate to hire them again.

O-3 Allegation of Sexual Assault BOI

I initially did my consultation with Alex approximately eight months after I was accused by an airman in my squadron of sexual assault. The airman was upset that I broke up with her and she filed an unrestricted report against me, then she also colluded with other females in my squadron to make up ot...her allegations about me. My squadron and wing leadership came down hard on me and they began treating me like a guilty person, without any form of due process. My squadron commander began stacking paperwork against me to aid the JAG with building a case against me. I did not feel like my ADC was adequate or prepared enough to see my case through a court martial and she always seemed to never have enough time to sit down with me to discuss my case. After doing some research, all fingers pointed towards the Waddington's. During our consultation, Alex listened and asked several questions. I could tell that she actually gave a crap about me and my family. Two months after I hired the Waddington's my case suddenly got dropped and I thought everything was done and I would be back to some normalcy soon, but that was far from the truth. Several months later, I was notified that I would be facing a Board of Inquiry for administrative discharge. Long story short, the dirty JAG officers and my succubus accuser and her friends got crushed by Mr. Waddingtion. Michael surgically cross examined them, which at times was very entertaining, and the truth finally came out. 9 of the 11 allegations were thrown out by the board members, including all sexual assault allegations and all the allegations brought up by her friends and my commander. I got hit with fraternization and adultery which I was upfront about almost 2 years ago when this all started. My only regret is that I didn't hire the Waddington's from day one! Thank you guys for all that you've done for me! I highly recommend this team to anyone who needs a strong defense!

Impressive Defender

I was accused of Sexual Assault by someone I have known for almost 2 years. We are both in USAF at the same base but different unit. She initiated everything and was in trouble before. We had a relationship that is complicated but others would find that we're together. Had intercourse and next day sh...e reported me. She had motive to fabricate so she could get out of trouble with her command. It's been a year since the accusation all began. The suffering and the anguish that I went through impacted how lived. I formed habits just so I could get away from the reality that my life and my career could potentially be over. I felt like an outcast when my unit suspended my security clearance. It prevented me from working around what I signed up in USAF for. I lost many volunteer and professional development opportunities that I was interested in because of I was under investigation. My work e-mail was heavily filtered prohibiting me from receiving unit wide information. I was already seemed like a guilty person. I never thought I'd be in this situation especially with Sexual Assault cases all happening recently amplified by the media. I was at the bottom state of my life. At first, when OSI began their investigation, they interrogated me for 2 hours. I didn't have Mrs. Waddington with me while I gave them my side of the story. I made a mistake of saying a word to OSI. I believed them and I knew I didn't do anything wrong. I gave them every single detail of what happen knowing and I considered that they would help me find the truth of the accusation. I even gave them a 12 page written sworn statement that was disregarded because they used the video of my "interview" in court against me instead. I also gave them my phone for evidence of text message conversation along with the evidence of apology letter on my computer from me to her. All those evidence then, were used against me during my trial. I was devastated. It was the most uncomfortable feeling I have ever felt hearing and seeing all the evidence I gave them. My initial thought of the accusation was something I never really took serious and believed that it was going to be dropped before anything else would happen. I was WRONG. When I was referred and I was actually criminally charged, that is where my nightmare all began. I thought my life and career is over. Those thoughts drained me every single day since. I asked for advice around my unit and directed me towards ADC. I wanted more than ADC to handle my case and that is when I found Mrs. Waddington. Mrs. Waddington's professional, passionate, and a projecting partner guided me through hell. When my case was referred to Article 32 in which Mrs. Waddington advised me to waive it and I did. She told me that Article 32 is nothing more than positive for the prosecutors to potentially find more charges against me. She also mentioned that the convening authority will take the case to General Court-Martial anyway so they can try and bolster their conviction rate. I felt overwhelmed hearing that. I noticed her passion when she spoke to me about what will happen with the case. Her guidance and knowledge of the system made me feel that I will be safe and secured in her hands. She uplifted me when I feel lost and confused. She gave me hope. I admired her. She gave my life and career back. My family was afflicted when they found out what I was going through. I told them my situation. They were in disbelief and worried. Mrs. Waddington's projecting partnership gave my family a sense that she will fight to the end for me. When I hired her, she wasn't alone. She has a team behind her. A team that fought hard and determined to defend my innocence in the courtroom which resulted of a NOT GUILTY verdict even when the deck was stacked against me. Without her and her team, I would of possibly spent time in jail along with a sex register under my name forever. Thank you Mrs. Waddington for all the things you did for me.

Professional and Compassionate.

Alexandra was amazing throughout the many conversations we had about my son's sexual assault case. She is the wife and law partner of Michael Waddington who represented my son at the trial, but while he was away at other cases. it was Alexandra that answered every single concern. There was a three ...hour time difference in our locations and she often spoke with me at length well into the evening hours. Her response time to texts and voicemails was simply remarkable. She never made me feel like I was imposing or asking too may questions. Although her husband Michael Waddington tried my son's case in court, it was Alexandra that kept my family and me calm over several months while my son was in pretrial confinement. It was only moments after the trial was over and my son found NOT GUILTY that my cell received a text saying - "Michael says they said they were deliberating" "What have you heard?" When I told her NOT GUILTY, she said "Oh Thank God, I've been waiting." This just goes to show how much Alexandra cares about a case and her efforts are sincere. I highly recommend the law firm of Gonzalez and Waddington without the least bit of reservation.
