Zachary Matthew Alfant

I have been represented by Attorney Alfant twice in my life, in two different heart wrenching situations. My first experience with him was in 2016 and 2017 at which time I was going through the process of a divorce and being the petitioner of an injunction and my second experience was in 2023 when ...dealing with an injunction following the death of my fiancé. Both times that I was represented by him he went above and beyond to ensure my well-being in the well-being of my family and others involved in each case. His ability to act on the spot and his intelligence are unmatched. He never wavered once during either process, and his confidence in both himself and me which gave me confidence to know that everything is going to be okay. I never had to worry about whether or not the right thing would happen because of the incredible attorney that he has. He was able to cite things such as caselaw and statutes off the top of his head when needed even at times when something happened or was said that we had not planned on. Both he and his assistant Amanda took as much time needed to ensure that I was comfortable with everything going on, and that I was made of everything that I would need to know during this process. They spent as much time needed to ensure that I felt comfortable, even if that meant taking away time from their personal lives. The compassion and empathy that they show that they truly care for their clients, and even the other parties that may be involved in a case. So often we run into professionals that get caught up in a world of making money, and forget why it is that they began to practice law that this is certainly not the case for attorney, Alfant or Amanda. They are both out to ensure that the best outcome happens that will benefit the well-being of the parties involved. I honestly do not know what how my life forever ended up if not for Attorney Alfant. He even went as far as to remain in contact with me after my case was completed, and when the need for his services came up again, he wasted no time in coming to my aid. He is truly meant to be an attorney and not just an attorney, but one of the best attorneys that could ever exist. His ability to be passionate about what he does for remaining professional is not an ability that is seen often. When it comes to the reputation of attorneys, or just a person in general, there is no debate in my mind that he is one of the best. All of the situations that I was involved in during the times that I worked with him or situations that I would have preferred to have never been in one prefer to never be in again, I’m honestly glad to have been able to be represented by a person as amazing as Attorney Alfant. Both myself and my family will be grateful to him forever for what he has done for us. Thank you Attorney Alfant for always being there for me and for reminding me that the world still has good people in it.

Zach and Amanda were such a support guiding me through a very horrible experience with my narcissist ex husband and his flying monkey lawyer (Bonnie Berns) who encouraged his awful behavior telling him he has a strong case getting thousands of dollars from me (mind you this was after the final divorc...e was settled, she told him he had a strong case to undo the final divorce judgement) - which was totally untrue. This led to 2 years of legal battles and false accusations from them. During this time Zach and Amanda were on the frontline and managing these two unbalanced people so professionally and at the same time were a shoulder for me to lean on and keep me going. For me it was a fight to be free from this man and his abuse. I cannot thank Zach and Amanda enough for fighting so hard for me and helping me get through this ordeal. We won! We Won!

I was referred to Zach by a local attorney who is now a judge. Zach (and his assistant, Amanda) have been helping me through a long, extremely complicated divorce. While Zach, like most divorce attorneys, would much rather mediate and settle things quickly and easily; in my case, we've had no choice... but to have a drawn out procedure due to the actions of my STBX. He has had to navigate issues involving not only other states, but other countries as well. It hasn't been easy, yet Zach has not given up. He's always handled my case with skill and empathy.

I would have been better off representing myself. On my first court date, Alfant showed up 10 minutes late. The opposing attorney was on time and had signed in. Had Zach showed up on time, we would not have waited 4 hours to see the judge, (which of course, I was charged $1250.00 for). On the sam...e day, he had another court appearance in another town, so he tapped his feet and rushed my time with the judge. Zach promised to get things done for me but blew through $6500 in retainer rather quickly with little result. I would not recommend. I wish I could post the frat boy style etiquette he used while communicating with the opposing attorney. It was full of inappropriate innuendo which of course, I was billed for.

Attorney Alfant began representing me in December of 2016 and to say that he is a great Attorney does not even begin to describe him. He went above and beyond and helped save me from my own ignorance of my situation. He helped give me a voice when I couldn’t do it on my own and he believed in me when... I didn’t believe in myself. I can honestly say that he changed my life. I know my case was not easy and there were times when I was whiny and annoying and I’m sure some people might have thought “why am I doing this” a lot but he never gave up on me. He worked really hard to help me and dedicated so much of his time and he was there to reassure me when I started thinking I couldn’t keep pushing forward. He didn’t have to do any of that and he did and he did it wonderfully. I never had to worry anytime we went to court or to depositions because I knew he was going to do everything he could to help me. I often tell people about times when I started shutting down and having a hard time and he would request to stop for a moment for a break so I could pull myself together. One main thing I will never forget was when we were in a hearing and the opposing side was arguing something and Attorney Alfant very calmly and professionally stated rules and statutes straight from memory and it amazed me how he just knew all of this information and he said it like he was reading it straight from a book. He had an ability to help me stay calm and to not let my nerves get the best of me before a hearing. Attorney Alfant has a true talent for being an Attorney. He goes above and beyond for his clients and has their best interest at heart. I am so incredibly lucky to have been represented by such a great person.
