Dennis graduated from the University of New Mexico with a B.A. in History in December of 1989 and from the University of New Mexico with a Juris Doctor in May of 2000. He has practiced in the areas of Workers Compensation Defense and Creditor Law, but the vast majority of his legal experience has been helping individuals through his bankruptcy practice.
In the course of his career representing individuals, Dennis has filed over 1100 Chapter 7 bankruptcies, and over 200 Chapter 13 reorganization bankruptcies. He enjoys the opportunity to help people who are facing difficult times and provide them with a fresh start in life.

I went to see Dennis because I was considering bankruptcy. Rather than pushing me down that path, he listened to my situation, my concerns, and gave me an honest assessment of my options based on my specificcircumstances. With his help I determined bankruptcy was not my best option, however I'm very grateful for his extensive knowledge and insight. I highly recommend his services!

I have never had to file a bankruptcy before and Dennis provided all the right information to me. I provided great advise that I wasn't even thinking about! Great Attorney
Dennis is an excellent attorney. Very well versed. This is already a difficult situation in itself and working with them made it so much better. He did an excellent job handling our Chapter 7. We had a unique situation with multiple businesses and handling our personal as well. They are very responsive and handled everything.

When I think of Courtesy, Understanding and above all Competency, I automatically think of Dennis A. Banning. From our initial consultation, straight through our final proceedings, Dennis was there. Dennis walked us through our processes as if he were a father putting his child on a two-wheeler for the first time.
