Biography
Attorney Albert Cohen is the founder and owner of Cohen & Cohen Law Group, P.C., conveniently located in Forest Hills, New York. Mr. Cohen has a busy and successful practice with focus on; estate planning and elder law, personal injury, and immigration. Mr. Cohen completed his undergraduate at Cleveland State University and earned his Juris Doctor Degree from Pace University School of Law, cum laude. He has been in practice since 2002. He is a member of the American Academy of Estate Planning Attorneys and the New York State Bar Association’s elder law, estates and trusts section.
At our law firm, we combine legal skills with compassion and understanding. We are a boutique law firm with four different departments specializing in estate planning, personal injury, real estate, and immigration. We pride ourselves developing estate plans personalized to the needs of each client and insure that the assets and real estate of each client are transferred according to their wishes. Consideration is given to the avoidance of probate and the protection of assets from nursing home care, estate taxes, creditors and others. Mr. Cohen is a frequent speaker and lecturer in the area of estate planning in NYC. He has the insight and skill to recognize costly future problems and to minimize or avoid them.
Mr. Cohen is an active member of the community and has received a community leadership presented by U.S. Senator Charles E. Schumer. He has also received a Proclamation from the Council of the City of New York, in honor of his outstanding service contributions to New York City. He has provided pro bono services and contributed to a wide range of charitable causes and events.
