Biography
I believe that all people should be treated with respect and dignity. Our criminal justice system seems to operate on the premise that if you're charged with a crime (especially a heinous one) you deserve to be treated like scum even before you're convicted. In other words, that you are presumed guilty.
I've made it a point to honor the "innocent until proven guilty" concept of our legal system that is often forgotten. I believe that everyone has the right to a first-class defense and to be treated as an individual, worthwhile human being.
