Laura Ruvolo Lipp is a former elementary school teacher and the mother of two children, both of whom have special needs. Her experiences and perspectives as a teacher and parent keep her focus on the best interests of the children involved in any family law case she handles.
Ms. Lipp has been certified by the New Jersey Supreme Court as a Matrimonial Law Attorney. She is also a qualified family law mediator. She was admitted to the New Jersey Bar and U.S. District Court of New Jersey in 2005. Ms. Lipp has dedicated her entire legal career to the practice of family and matrimonial law. She received her Juris Doctorate from Seton Hall University School of Law in 2004, where she distinguished herself as co-founder and President of Seton Hall’s Family Law Society. She is a member of the New Jersey Association of Professional Mediators as well as the Family Law Sections of the American Bar Association, New Jersey State Bar Association and Morris County Bar Association.
Ms. Lipp received her B.S., cum laude, from East Stroudsburg University in Pennsylvania in 1998, with a degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. Prior to enrolling in law school, Ms. Lipp was an elementary school teacher for three years.
Ms. Lipp was recognized by New Jersey Monthly Magazine as a "New Jersey Super Lawyer" in 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2022 and as a "New Jersey Super Lawyers - Rising Star" in 2010, 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2015.
