Jodi was instrumental and very professional with my case. We were at a standstill and she was a on mission to reconcile our situation. The results were beneficial to both parties. I would highly recommend her services and so very thankful for her hard work.

Ok. I’m only allowed three thousand plus characters within this stupid box, but I’ll get to it.... Jodi is different than any other lawyer I have encountered. She cares for her clients and does not see them as “dollar signs” or a typical “number”. She listens, she plots, and then along with her TEAM executes. She is well known and respected. She is thorough and concise. She demands that her clients remain open minded due to her team’s creative tactics. I was lost, I was a mess, but Jodi is an old sole. She gained my trust by simply shaking my hand and keeping constant eye contact. She took the time to make sure I understood “next steps”. It’s a TEAM effort within her firm, but I would go a little further and call them a family unit.

Grandparent Visitation Rights Vs. Guardianship Rights
It was a delight to meet Jodi. We had setup a consultation meeting to discuss a very sensitive and complicated case with potential multiple legal avenues for guardianship rights and/or grandparent visitation rights involving out of state jurisdictions. Needless to say we are way out of our element on how to navigate the legal system, let alone across state lines and as most people would be – we were and are emotionally charged over the situation. Jodi was calm, cool and collected. She gave candid straight-forward advice and provided a referral for legal counsel in the corresponding state. Jodi's honest, forthright demeanor and high level of integrity was a pleasure to encounter and has earned our respect and appreciation. I highly recommend her.

A+ Lawyer
Just by our initial meeting, I could tell Jodi was very knowledgable in child custody, divorce and family law. She is passionate about what she does, and it shows in everything she does. I knew from our meeting that I would be in the best of hands. It was a wave of relief meeting Jodi and I would definitely recommend her to anyone dealing with child custody, family law, child support and divorce.

Divorce Case
Jodi is truly an amazing lawyer. I was going through a very rough divorce, and I was working with another attorney. My case was going down the hill. I decided to change lawyers, and I hired Jodi. As soon as Jodi took my case, everything turned around 180 degrees. She was very knowledgeable, professional and supportive. The biggest problem in my case was child custody. My ex-wife wouldn't let me have any overnights with my child. I only had 8 hours a week with him. Prior to hiring Jodi, I was willing to settle the case. My ex-wife and I went in front of mediator, and we reached an agreement twice, but both times my ex-wife pulled out, because she wanted more. After that time, I changed lawyers, and I hired Jodi. To make long story short, not only I got what I asked for during medication, in terms of child custody, but I actually got more time. There has not been a single issue that was not resolved in a favorable to me way. I strongly recommend Jodi as a family attorney.

hardworking, extremely knowledgeable
Very passionate representation. Reasonable fees, and payment plan arrangement available in my case. Wish she had been there for me at the original divorce / custody / support matter in NY State.

Overcharged me big time
I had an unfortunate experience with Jodi Argentino. My main problem was her firm’s billing practices. I’ve been divorced for several years and have been to court numerous times and have never been hit with such ridiculous fees. The billing was absolutely insane and I believe it was fraudulent. I caught several errors where I was over billed by hundreds of dollars. I disputed several more which she refused to change. Furthermore, Jodi got very nasty with me on one occasion via email when I was just trying to help. I showed my previous attorney her email and she was shocked how unprofessional the message was. Please do yourself and your wallet a favor, run don’t walk from Jodi Argentino.
