I hired Mr. Marootian to deal with a traffic summons. He gave me great confidence and alleviated my nervousness. He worked with prosecutor to reduce charge to lowest violation and also had him waive my appearance in court. A minimal fine and no points was the only penalty. I am glad to recommend him enthusiastically.

To say that I was nervous, unsure and embarrassed after my DWI would be an understatement!! It was not my first one and I was petrified. Every lawyer was a stranger and I felt totally alone and uneducated as to how to proceed. I received many letters etc offering help but one pamphlet stood out. It seemed to address all the issues I was worried about. Not simply the judicial process but also my state of mind. Greg was farther away from me than all the others but I decided to give it a shot. I went to his office and found that the pamphlet was no fluke. Greg and Nellie (who was always kind and knowledgeable on the phone) immediately put me at ease at that first meeting. I knew the longer drive was totally worth the choice. They provided a "no judgement" environment which was really import for me. Over the course of several months they always outlined what would be happening and how I needed to prepare myself for all outcomes. If I called sometimes it was Greg himself answering the phone. They were with me every step of the way. Most importantly I received an outcome beyond my best expectations. They literally gave me my life back and I am inexpressibly grateful. I am not totally out of the woods but even now after the decision Greg and Nellie will call or email their support and assistance when most others would have long moved on. If you are seeking expert help with a heart then you should be choosing Greg.

We hired Mr. Marootian after receiving a DWI ticket as well as additional tickets involving an accident. We consulted with a few different attorneys about our case but after speaking with Mr. Marootian we knew he was the best attorney for us. He told us from the beginning that we had a difficult case and did not make any promises as to the outcome but did promise to work diligently on our case and he was true to his word. He is not only an excellent attorney but also compassionate to the situation we were in. He was always available by phone or in person to answer any questions we had. We made the right decision when we hired Mr. Marootian and are extremely satisfied and happy with the outcome of our case. We highly recommend him.

I retained Mr. Marootian to represent me in 6 different municipalities regarding numerous very serious driving infractions spanning two decades. I was facing possible jail time in all 6 of those municipalities. Not only was Mr. Marootian able to help me avoid incarceration on all charges, he was actually successful in having many of the charges dismissed. He is a true expert in his craft, and I'm thankful for all his support throughout the entire process.

I had gotten a 2nd DUI, which meant I was facing a 2 year loss of license and 30 days in jail -- a sentence which any other lawyer would've gotten me. Indeed, the majority of lawyers whom I'd called said it was likely I'd get that because judges must give a mandatory sentence with a 2nd DUI. The lawyers whom I called explained that the prosecutor had my urine containing prescription painkillers as evidence and there was no way out of it. The urine was there as evidence and that was that.
But Gregg did the impossible -- he got the urine thrown out as evidence!
Yes, that's right. We had a trial wherein the prosecutor presented urine containing a significant amount of prescription painkiller as the #1 piece of evidence to prove that I was Driving Under the Influence. The entire case hinged on the urine. Yet Gregg got it thrown out. Once that was thrown out, there was no case at all.
Gregg spent 6 months working on an intensely intelligent motion that argued that the police had unlawfully seized my urine without a warrant. I had signed a consent the day they arrested me and took my urine, but I did not have a lawyer present and they had no warrant. Gregg had referred to the 4th Amendment and argued that this was an unduly aggressive seizure of property (and that a human beings' bodily fluids are property), because my signature notwithstanding, there was no warranty.
His argument was so legally skillful, that I could see that even the Judge was impressed. No kidding, it was if the Judge had been bored to death by hearing the same old speeding ticket and plea bargain cases every day that he came alive now that he had a chance to talk about Constitutional Law as he did in the good old days when he was in Law School. At the end the Judge said to Greg, "That was an interesting argument Counselor." Then the Prosecutor agreed with the Judge and said, "I know, it was, wasn't it?"
In other words, Gregg had presented such an intelligent case that even the darn prosecutor was impressed with it!
I think this story shows without question that Gregg is a superb lawyer. Yet I must also add that there are other key reasons to hire him. The 1st is that he is simply an all around kind human being. He is a warm friendly guy -- the sort of person whom you feel comfortable with the moment you meet him and who sincerely cares about you as a person. I've hired him for other cases in other municipalities and all the prosecutors and judges in the area know him and like him. The 2nd is that he is licensed by the New Jersey Supreme Court as a Municipal Court Trial Attorney. This means that he exclusively handles traffic violations in municipal courts. Other lawyers will portray themselves as traffic court specialists but if you look more closely you shall see that they actually spread themselves thin representing other areas such as Family Court, Criminal Defense, Personal Injury, Workers Compensation, etc. Gregg is not a "jack of all trades" handling all those other different things. He ONLY does Traffic Court Violations. He has been doing Traffic Violations and only Traffic Violations every day, all day, for years. Thus, he knows all the laws, all the prosecutors, all the judges, all the ins-and-outs, and how to make the system to work for you.
If you have been charged with a traffic court violation it is truly insane to hire anyone else but Gregg Marootian. I mean that. It is insane to hire anyone else but him.

Greg is an amazing attorney. I was in a really vulnerable place after my accident and was issued my summons. He took care of me and let me know I was safe in his hands. He answered any and all questions I had and let me know everything I needed to do throughout the entire process. If I could give him ten stars, I would.

A DUI is a horrible experience. I found myself in this position not knowing who to call or where to turn. Thankfully I spoke with Greg Marootian and was so happy I did. I explained my situation to him and told him I was a nervous wreck (DUI, Refusal, Wreckless Driving, Speeding, Tailgaiting and almost every other traffic violation the officer could think of). Greg went through all of the details of what I was facing and had a very calming demeanor in the process. After that first call, my nerves definitely settled down. Not only is Greg's experience second to none, his assistant, Nellie, is also very experienced and wonderful. They both worked tirelessly on my case and tried to get the best outcome for me. I was very happy with the results (Greg doesn't stop after the case is completed. He makes himself available to help with navigating the penalty phase of the process). If you find yourself in the horrible position of a DUI arrest, do yourself a favor and call Greg Marootian.
