After contacting Mr. Fleischman’s email through this website (because I was being pursued for a false debt) I was sent a phone number for scheduling a fifty-dollar telephone consultation. I waited five days for the appointment and then planned my day around the mid-afternoon call. The call never came. I left a message with his office, and received no response. Not the qualities I would look for in a lawyer.

Jay handled my bankruptcy in 2004 and was fabulous. He explained everything to me in an understandable fashion and prepared me for what to expect. After my bankruptcy was finalized, he continued to be on top of my credit reports, making sure that all information was correct. He's totally on top of things.

I am not American born, English is not my first language. However, I had no problem communicating with him.
My job keeps me on the move. So, there was a good chance for me to miss an important letter (from the court or from a creditor) coming in my home mailbox. Mr. Fleischman kept me informed by email - my preferred method of contact, the only sure way to reach me.
After the conclusion of the case, after bankruptcy was granted to me, one of my former creditors kept on trying to get their (already discharged) debt. Mr. Fleischman helped me reach a fair settlement with that creditor without extra out of pocket expenses.
