Matthew J Dudley

Matthew is AMAZING! I was referred to him by a co-worker, who's friend was using him. When I arrived at Matthew's office, I was broken, scared and physically sick. My ex was a bully. I didn't know how to break the cycle. Matthew's first words to me where "come in, she who doubts herself". He was dire...ct and honest. There was no sugar coating anything. He told me if I was out of line in things regarding my ex but backed me up when it was the right thing to do. Matthew does not tolerate bullies! He will do what is necessary for you and your child. He will fight for you and present your case TRUTHFULLY in court. Matthew is affordable. He will not charge you ridiculous fees. Full disclosure, if you imagine an attorney's office with fancy desks, a receptionist and water cooler....this is not the office. Matthew works in organized chaos and he remembers EVERYTHING. It's important to note that Matthew is one of the busiest divorce lawyers in town. He spends a good part of the week in court, so it can be difficult to reach him, but he will get back to you! I have grown quite fond of Matthew over the last 15 months. I wouldn't change a thing about having Matthew represent me. Now that my divorce is final, I am going to truly miss Mr. Dudley, aka Mr. Grinch.

A little over a year ago I hired Mr. Dudley as my attorney for a divorce and custody battle. With no idea what I was getting myself into, and feeling in the dark over a situation I felt I had little to no control over. With that being said Matthew swept me up and kept me going during the hardest time... of my life. If you are looking for someone to console you or make you feel better, this is not your guy. He is very straight to the point and blunt but man does he get the job done. He was always available when I needed, always got back to me in a timely fashion and was very organized. I would give me a 100 star rating out of 5. If you want the best you will get the best with Mr. Dudley.

I was recommended by my former attorney who suggested Matthew. Due to the fact she was not a trail attorney. My soon to be ex husband is not at all a compromising type of person. When I met with Matthew I knew right off the bat that he would be one of my blessings. When we spoke I truly appreciate...d the fact that he is who he is. He is straight forward and tells you like it is. Does not sugar coat anything. You are fully prepared on everything. He speaks from experience and does not just tell you what you want to hear to make it all better. My case went to a special trial. Unfortunately we were given trial dates many times, but at no fault to Matthew they were cancelled many times by the court. I have been trying to get a divorce since 2015 and now awaiting the Judges ruling. My case involved a minor child whom is a teenager. No matter what the out come of my case. He did everything I wanted and then some. He amazed me in court. He speaks direct question after question. He is there to win your case. He doesn't go on and on about non sense issues on the stand just to hear him self talk. He put me to easy and helped me understand how the entire process works. I could go on and on about how great he is. I will say that if you need an attorney to get it done and done the right way the first time around Matthew Dudley is your guy. I have the nothing, but respect for Mr Dudley. Thank you for always being up front and honest with me. I did see some reviews have stated Matthew as being rude. I don't consider an Attorney rude when he is just telling you like it is straight and to the point. So I say this, people before you write your reviews think to yourself. Did He do everything he could with the facts that were given to him. Take a step outside and look in with different eyes. Just because everything thing didn't go your way does not make him a bad attorney. He nor any attorney can predict the out come of any case. No attorney likes losing a case. Unfortunately having to go to any attorney for family law is awful and painful. I don't wish having to go though this on my worse enemy. But if you ever find yourself in need of one Mr Dudley should be yours. Thank you Matthew! P.S. He does have a great sense of humor.

I should have written a review a long time ago. Matthew Dudley was recommended to me by a friend who knows a lot about family law, she told me Mr Dudley is affordable, (I had very little money) honest and a bull dog in the court room and she was not wrong. Mr Dudley it's straight foreword and to the... point, he doesn't beat around the bush or charge you for every little thing he can. When I went to meditation for my kids he was up front about the things I wouldn't win on, he told me we can take this to court and spend your money but this particular thing you aren't going to get, which I very much appreciated. He could have charged me and gone to court but he was honest with me instead and for that I am forever grateful. He will not hold your hand and baby you because he knows that gets you nowhere so if that's what you need, find another lawyer if you want honesty and results then definitely hire Dudley. I have and will continue to recommend him. He works long hours and is a fantastic lawyer!

I was referred to Matthew Dudley by numerous people, so I knew he had to be one of the best lawyers in town. Everyone that I talked to said that he really cares for children, and that he takes into consideration the emotional feelings that come with a divorce case. With my case, my ex lived in Canada..., and I had two children that I wanted full custody of. Matthew took my case and said he would fight for what I wanted to get out of the case; my two children and a fair, equal split of our properties and money. Matthew did exactly that and I was very happy with the outcome of my case. Mr. Dudley takes time out of his weekend to make sure you know he is there for you. If you ever need to contact him you have his personal phone number, and if he doesn't answer he calls you right back no matter what time or day. Matthew is an incredible lawyer and I would refer him to anyone. If you are looking for a lawyer that is tough and will fight for everything that you want out of your case then Matthew is excellent for the job.
