Matthew J Dudley

I hired Dudley in 2017 (I believe), for a child custody case. I had been representing myself and was being grossly defamed of my character by opposing counsel. He was recommended by a friend at the time. He got back to me quickly for my consult and got to work quickly on assisting me. I have seen rev...iews of his “rude” remarks. Dudley seems very black and white and follows the law. I was very stressed out over the case. He gave it to me straight and I really appreciated that. It gave me a different perspective and allowed me to understand how the process/back and forth moving forward. Dudley was my lawyer until this year, 2025. I have full legal and physical custody. Had my ex-husband been more interested in being a father, rather than continuing a traumatic cycle, the case would have been closed a lot sooner. Based on my experience of what documents and evidence was provided to the court by opposing parties and how my ex-husband continued to hire new counsel, I am very thankful for Dudley. I got the impression that he took on clients that needed him and he cared for. It is not just a paycheck for him. If you can put your pride, anxiety, or trauma aside - he is the lawyer for you. If you need someone to hold your hand and sugar coat everything for you…maybe choose someone else. Like I said, I am very thankful for the work and treatment I received.

If I could give Matthew Dudley more stars, I absolutely would. He is, hands down, the best attorney I’ve ever met. He truly cares about the kids and keeps their best interests front and center. In court, he’s an absolute bulldog—fearless, focused, and determined. You definitely want him on your side.... What also stood out to me is how affordable he is, especially for parents who may not have a lot of money to work with. He makes quality legal representation accessible, and that’s rare. I’ll be recommending him to any parent who needs strong, compassionate legal help. He exceeded all my expectations.

Matthew is phenomenal! I can't recommend him highly enough. I had hired another attorney but was frustrated with the lack of communication and follow through. A friend of mine had previously hired Matthew for custody issue and she raved about him. Matthew is direct and to the point, which I appreciat...e. There isn't handholding but that's what I pay my therapist for. He doesn't over-promise and definitely delivers. He operates with absolute precision, is extremely knowledgeable and communicates when needed. If you are looking for the best Matthew is it!

I cannot recommend Matthew Dudley highly enough. He is absolutely brilliant! He quickly identified several errors made by my ex's flashy, pristine suit-wearing attorney, with his fancy downtown office space. Matthew gets straight to the point and doesn’t indulge in unnecessary emotional discussions, ...which I had to keep reminding myself of during the process. Despite his no-nonsense approach, he is genuinely kind and showed real empathy when I was having a panic attack after one of our hearings. And yes, we won the case! Anyone who doesn’t appreciate him was likely on the opposing side. If you’re looking for a dedicated and effective attorney, you would be foolish not to hire Matthew Dudley. He truly knows the law!
