Matthew J Dudley

This is the second time I have hired Mr. Dudley and just as the first time he did not disappoint. His rates are reasonable, he is willing to work with you, he is extremely knowledgeable and professional. He is always available, weekdays, weekends, early in the morning. He is a no nonsense attorney. H...e helped me obtain 50/50 custody of children during my initial divorce and a highly contested custody case and help me obtain sole custody just recently. Both times we went to trial and Mr. Dudley was extremely well prepared. I would recommend him to anyone I know that is going though divorce and /or has a difficult custody case that they are dealing with. Especially fathers that sometimes tend to go into custody cases at a disadvantage. Don't let anyone dictate the time you get with your kids, contact Mr. Matthew J. Dudley and have him fight for you as he has fought not only for me but for countless others.

I hired Dudley in 2017 (I believe), for a child custody case. I had been representing myself and was being grossly defamed of my character by opposing counsel. He was recommended by a friend at the time. He got back to me quickly for my consult and got to work quickly on assisting me. I have seen rev...iews of his “rude” remarks. Dudley seems very black and white and follows the law. I was very stressed out over the case. He gave it to me straight and I really appreciated that. It gave me a different perspective and allowed me to understand how the process/back and forth moving forward. Dudley was my lawyer until this year, 2025. I have full legal and physical custody. Had my ex-husband been more interested in being a father, rather than continuing a traumatic cycle, the case would have been closed a lot sooner. Based on my experience of what documents and evidence was provided to the court by opposing parties and how my ex-husband continued to hire new counsel, I am very thankful for Dudley. I got the impression that he took on clients that needed him and he cared for. It is not just a paycheck for him. If you can put your pride, anxiety, or trauma aside - he is the lawyer for you. If you need someone to hold your hand and sugar coat everything for you…maybe choose someone else. Like I said, I am very thankful for the work and treatment I received.

I would not be where I currently am without Dudley. I found him about a week after I separated from the mother of my children. Through the whole process he helped me bulldoze through all the noise and made my divorce seem simple. Simple but not easy, divorce is never easy (in my experience). The onl...y thing I regretted at the end of my divorce was not getting ahold of Dudley on day one. I would be significantly better off if I had done so. If you are entering into a messy (or simple) divorce, get Dudley immediately on the phone, listen to what has to say, and things will turn out well in the end. I'm recommending Matthew J Dudley to anybody I can.
