Matthew helped me through a divorce recently and I would highly recommend him. I hired him after letting my other lawyer go because she was visually afraid of my ex and didn't file something that needed to be filed and the case got postponed with me and my children in a somewhat vulnerable spot. He ...was exactly what I needed. Let me say he does come off rough and doesn't hold your hand through it, but that's not what I needed in a lawyer. He let me know that I needed to ask for more from my ex and helped me come up with a new parenting plan that better protected me and my children.

Mr. Dudley is the best you can hire, he knows what he’s doing and he’s good at what he does. He guided me through family court seamlessly, once hired he was a text away. He answered every question clearly and honestly. I listened to everything he said and it was a slam dunk case. Be honest, be open a...nd don’t be afraid(unless the opposing has him) some call him names say he’s this or that, but he’s professional and honest and sometimes the truth is hard to hear.

Matthew is phenomenal! I can't recommend him highly enough. I had hired another attorney but was frustrated with the lack of communication and follow through. I cannot recommend Matthew Dudley highly enough. He is absolutely brilliant! He quickly identified several errors made by my ex's flashy, pristine suit-wearing attorney, with his fancy downtown office space. In my experience, it is rare that I feel compelled to write a review for someone unless they have done truly exceptional work. This is only the second time I have ever written a review, the first being for a mortgage lender. I was therefore hesitant when we first met, but Mr. Dudley quickly proved to be a no-nonsense attorney who tells the truth and is extremely direct, even to the point of being abrasive at times. He will not sugarcoat anything or act as a therapist, but rather, he will fight for you and your family. My father always told me to hire an attorney that other attorneys fear going up against, and Mr. Dudley fits that description. He is there to represent you and your family to the best of his ability. We hired Matthew Dudley to help us become de facto parents to our great granddaughter, and after a year of working with him, we went to trial. Matthew Dudley is an excellent trial lawyer, with a dynamic approach and a knack for finding and presenting key information that helped us get everything we asked for. He is also very respectful towards opposing counsel, and I believe that his attention to detail and careful preparation were key to our success in court.
