Matthew J Dudley

Matthew Dudley is a top notch lawyer, yes, he is hard to deal with, but that is because he knows his stuff. If you listen to him, and deal with busy schedule, he is well worth it. He was very hard on meat times, but when I was being cross examined it paid off. He is just preparing you for the courtro...om. He might be a bit of an ass sometimes, but that's because he knows what needs to be done, and if you don't do it it's frustrating, because he knows what you need to do. He won me everything, and for a good price!!

Mr. Dudley took a case we assumed would be simple, and when (to our surprise) it expanded into something much more complex, he was nonetheless able to handle it with ease. He guided me through the intricacies of the legal system and was able to get an outcome much better than expected, although part... of that success was admittedly due to the apathy of the opposing party. Hiring legal representation always seems to be a crap-shoot of sorts, meaning you don't always know who to trust, or how good a recommendation really is. I am happy to attest hiring Matthew Dudley to represent my interests was the best plan of action I could have chosen.

Never have I worked with a more pragmatic individual, nor someone as adept in their field of practice as Matthew Dudley. Our case stagnated in the family court system for a very long time, and I needed an attorney to help navigate the intricacies of our case. Mr. Dudley was recommended to me by a...n acquaintance who described him as a bulldog, and as someone you'd hope to avoid arguing against at trial. He's not the first attorney I had a consultation with, but he's the only one I'd recommend. Early on in our case, I recognized a trend among some family law attorneys. Too much effort was spent trying to protect their working relationships with fellow attorneys, gravitating toward appeasement rather than trying to accomplish what your family wants/needs. But that's not Matthew Dudley. If you have a case, this guy will unabashedly lean into any conflict and bring it to resolution. He's effectively engineered a process to help more clients than (what I believe to be) a normal amount for an attorney in Spokane. Court dates and the ensuing conflict used to be the most stressful thing about my life, and hiring this guy offered a new experience. Listening to the man argue your case is a marvel to behold. Attorneys are paid by the hour, and this guy's ethics don't allow him to run up your bill trying to coddle your ego, talk about your day, or commiserate about how awful your ex-spouse has been lately. He wants to help your family, and does a fantastic job. I'll likely never be able to repay him for what he's enabled us to do for our kids. 10/10 would recommend.

Matt helped me with my parenting plan as well as my child support case. My case seemed easy at first but going through everything seemed a little much so I hired Matt. Matt helped explain everything to me while fighting for what was needed. He was patient and to the point and I felt he understood... and listened to what I needed. I would recommend Matt for any Family Law need and would hire him again in a second.

Where do I start? I feel like Matthew is family at this point, given that he has been my atty for the past year. Looking for a nice, mild mannered attorney? This isn't your guy. Matthew is not nice and he most certainly will at least one time during your representation, make you cry; he has zero time... for bs. Looking for someone that knows his stuff, will get the job done, will be there for you, will tell you like it is, will win for you? Then, Matthew Dudley is your guy. Matthew is an amazing attorney, with a heart of gold. Thank you Matthew for everything you have done for me. Side note: If you aren't an honest individual, Matthew Dudley; also not your guy.
