Edward N. Ajlouny

I hired this lawyer to represent my family law case. He lacks focus and has a very hard time going through documents. He cannot summarize what is important for a case and is very ineffective in the court. He lacks the knowledge of either law or family court system and will waste your money on aski...ng the same question again and again without recollecting what you said. In my case, he decided to not file any paperwork and told me that he thought we could wing it. He spent his personal time filling out a two page form and charged me for 2 hours for it. In sum, very poor law sense and execution.

I hired him to navigate the process before the divorce and now that he has won the most important elements for me in court we can file for divorce in a position of strength. Edward is a good man, he has kids himself and understands the importance of children’s time with their Father. I am lucky to have him as my lawyer. His positive spirit and can do mentality helped me have hope at times that I felt overwhelmed, frustrated and disalusioned. Thank you Edward!! I was charged with domestic violence and hired a supposedly "well-known" criminal attorney who, basically, did **barely anything** after charging me a **non-refundable fee of $4500**. Because of my unique situation, I was in no position to accept a plea bargain. It had to be an outright dismissal or... acquittal. After three months, I replaced this "well known" lawyer with Edward Ajlouny. I called Edward Ajlouny on a Sunday evening and, he not only showed up at his office, but also came up with some strategies for defense. The next day, Ed Ajlouny visited the scene of the alleged incident, scoped out the place, role-played the alleged incident, elicited all the information, and took notes and photographs. He was enthusiastic, aggressive, and detail-oriented from the very outset and did not lose the tempo and laser-focus throughout the case. The case was at a logjam and it was complicated because of the presence of an alleged "independent witness" who gave a statement to the police. When the DA would not drop the charges, we opted for a jury trial and Ed Ajlouny was meticulous in his preparation. To make a long story short, the case was dismissed and the charges were dropped the morning the jury trial was supposed to begin. Ed Ajlouny's total fees (fixed, including trial preparation and representation) were about one-third of what I would have paid the other "well known" attorney. Ed Ajlouny was worth every penny. **Pros: Extremely reasonable fees, aggressive, meticulous, affable, enthusiastic about my case. I was always comfortable in talking to him about any concern I had about my case. All calls were answered by Edward Ajlouny himself, as opposed to the calls being ambushed by a paralegal at the other law firm I had hired early on in my case. This included calls made on the weekends for a status update!! Unless Ed Ajlouny is in the courtroom, all calls are answered or returned promptly. You cannot imagine how, this alone, is a comforting factor when going through the criminal process! If you hire Ed Ajlouny, he's the one who'll work with you and not his "assistant". As a matter of fact, he does not have any assistant whatsoever and is a one-person law firm! Punctual and never late for any hearings. **Excellent analytical skills to analyze the case** and present the various options (plea bargain, reduced charges, jury trial) and their consequences. Will not railroad you into taking a plea bargain that could affect your job prospects because of background checks. *Not afraid to take a case to trial.* Extensive trial experience. You need a lawyer who has been there, done that, and got the T-shirt! Cons: None I can think of. I was fortunate to have Ed Ajlouny as my attorney.

Edward is super good at family law. He listens to his client's case details extremely well, and prepares strong and persuasive documents before approaching the prosecutors. I went to Edward (luckily I went to him!!) for help with a Child Abuse case. He was able to identify the key defending grounds i...n a couple of minutes. Within 10 days from our first meeting, Edward got the case dismissed with DA - before the case even reached the first court date. This is a lightening speed far beyond my expectation. I recommend Mr. Edward Ajlouny with no reservation. He can save you and your loved ones from serious legal troubles!!
