I worked with guerin on a relatively complex and serious case. The case dragged on for two years and Guerin represented me from the time the charge was filed, thru a preliminary hearing and all the way up until a trial readiness conference where the case was dismissed. He had taken the case over fro...m another attorney who represented me during the pre-filing stage. Prior to hiring Guerin I consulted with just about every board certified criminal defense attorney in Santa Clara county and also another attorney who is known to be the top attorney in the area, and ultimately felt most comfortable with Guerin. Guerin is a low key guy who maintains professionalism throughout the process, and it seems obvious that he's taken seriously by the judges and DA's within the county. He responded to all of my emails and phone calls in a timely fashion, and over time I could tell he would hear me out when it came to strategizing and spit balling ideas. This to me was very important. Ultimately Guerin was able to get my case dismissed after a drawn out litigation process. He certainly was not the least expensive attorney i consulted with and some were willing to take my case for a very low flat rate, but I undoubtedly got what I paid for and am quite certain I would've regretted making a decision on price alone. Guerin and I had an hourly agreement and I have to say he's one of the few attorneys I would trust with such an arrangement, and never once did I feel he was billing the file or taking advantage of the situation. Quite honestly I would've never expected my case to become quite as costly as it did, but I have absolutely no regrets and in fact feel as though I still owe a debt of gratitude for the diligent, cautious and thorough work performed with my case. I recommend Guerin Provini to anyone facing criminal charges, and would be happy to provide more information to anyone considering hiring Guerin. Guerin is a friend of a friend of mine. I met him years ago.
