Michael Anthony Scafiddi

Michael Scafiddi is one of the best lawyers in southern California, in my opinion. He is very knowledgeable about the law and has many years of experience in litigation, as well as trial experience. Lightning struck for the second time about eight months ago. I was again involved in a near fatal automobile accident. I was in a coma for a whole week. While in coma the (CHP) that arrived on the scene was pressuring my mom at the hospital to sign documents on my behalf. My cousin who is a Family La...w Attorney was immediately contacted. Initially at the beginning stages of my case Attorney Neudorff was handling my case, he exhibited professionalism, knowledge of law, and compassion for my family and myself. After the inital phases, Attorney Michael A. Scafiddi personally took over my case. As i met with Scafiddi for the first time he informed me of all the charges and consequences i was facing. It was one of the most emotional days of my life. But Scafiddi reassured me that he took my case personally and that he was going to fight for me as if i was his daughter. He was concerned for my emotional and mental health which i was battling with at the time. He needed the OK from me to proceed with my case and that i was going to do my part and he was going to do his. Scafiddi said it was going to be a very long tedious road. He used an analogy that i kept in the back of my mind throughout the whole case. As those words came from his mouth i knew i could proceed and trust this man with my life. I told Scafiddi, "Let's do this." Eventually after repeated court appearances Michael A. Scafiddi got me a plea bargain that was acceptable to not only myself but to the other party as well. I get very emotional when i am reminiscent on how broken i was when Scafiddi and his firm first met me. I am no longer broken but have become stronger from this whole life experience. I just want to thank Scafiddi and his firm for fighting for me and getting my life back. I got a new chance at life thanks to Scafiddi and his firms love of what they do. God is going to bless the Law Offices of Michael A. Scafiddi for they did a miracle in my life! I consider Michael A. Scafiddi to be a second father and his firm apart of my family.

Michael Scafiddi and his staff not only handled my Criminal Defense but also followed up with my recent motions for early termination of probation, reduction of crime from felony to misdemeanor and expungement of record. Michael Scafiddi and his office helped me receive a plea bargain that was extre...mely fair. The original charge would have placed a felony on my record for life, but his office was able to plea to a different charge that has allowed me to petition for expungement just three years later. Michael Scafiddi and his staff, especially Scot Neurdoff, put together great motions for expungement. So much so, that the Judge even commented on how well written and how organized the motions were. By the end of the court appearance, even the District Attorney was on board and agreed with the recommendation for expungement and early termination of probation. Unfortunately for me, my crimes were very severe and the Judge did not think three years was just. He opted to continue my probation and felony but thanks to the hard work of Michael Scafiddi and his staff, the Judge gave me a return date that was very fair and will allow me to expunge my record and allow me to restart my life. This was a very difficult case to defend and is proving even harder to expunge because of the seriousness of the charges. Michael Scafiddi has been extremely professional and accomodating. As in most cases, this has been very stressful both emotionally and financially and Michael Scafiddi and his staff did everything they could to reduce these stresses and put me at ease. Even when my case was moved to another county which caused his staff to have to travel, they did not miss a beat. They jumped through hoops to accomodate the courts in the other county. They went far above and beyond what any other firm would have gone through. I would highly recommend him and his staff for anybody looking for a professional, respectful and knowledgeable Lawyer. I cannot thank him or his staff enough for the way they have treated both myself and my mother in this case.
