Prior to this, Eve managed the San Diego branch of The Law Offices of Michael Scafiddi under Mr. Scafiddi, a former police officer who has earned numerous legal awards as Criminal Defense attorney and is the current President of the San Bernadino County Bar Association.

Her experiences working with SoCal's foremost leaders in Criminal Law, in addition to her time with the San Diego County Public Defender’s Office, has provided Eve with comprehensive knowledge of the most effective Criminal Defense strategies.

Ms. Maestre graduated from the University of San Diego School of Law in 2017. During law school, Ms. Maestre served as Board Member and Coach for her school’s Appellate Moot Court Team and competed on their national team. As an undergraduate, she attended Pennsylvania State University where she graduated with honors and earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science, with minors in Economics and Spanish.

Ms. Maestre was born in Paris and speaks fluent French. When not practicing law, Eve is passionate about traveling, cooking and practicing yoga.

Above and beyond compassionate professionalism

Working in a service industry as I do, I know from first hand experience that you can't fake caring. When I was in a difficult situation, it gave me great comfort that I found someone who was not only knowledgeable and responsive, but compassionate and genuinely invested in my needs to help me navigate to the best possible outcome. Professional and experienced!

AMAZING!

Eve was absolutely AMAZING! She did my consult and everything else till the day of my hearing from across state lines. She answered every question or concern right away so I wasn't left worrying about what was going on. even when things got confusing or went outside of the spasific case she was working on for me she went above and beyond to help in any way she could! I couldn't of picked a better person to help resolve this issue and I highly recommend her for anyone that needs help with legal issues of their own! THANK YOU EVE!

One Of The Best

Eve is the best at what she does. She’s a very professional and responsive attorney. I was falsely accused of several things by extremely cunning neighbors. They did not tell me they had any issues with me but went to court and got a TRO against me. Now I realize about what the elders say, No matter how much education one has, it really matters how you are raised (those neighbors are both MDs at Kaiser in Southern CA). Eve did a thorough research and prepped us for a case that never should’ve been. Eve and the lead attorney, Mike, made their case against them. It’s a passion and Eve is very passionate about what she does. Needless to say, we won the case because the other people insulted the court at multiple occasions. The judge, more than likely, even knew they were lying from day one. The wife, husband and their friend’s story didn’t match once Eve and Mike questioned them about the incidents. We can’t say enough Thank You-s to Eve and the lead attorney Mike for everything.

Grateful client that never writes reviews..Ever!

I highly recommend Eve Maestre and the Law Office of Anna Yum for legal representation! I needed help desperately handling a criminal court case where I was being charged with a felony. I had no idea how to navigate the process or what to expect. Initially, I was worried and skeptical about retaining a lawyer for my criminal court case because of two prior legal cases, one as a defendant and one as a plaintiff, where my lawyers were not engaged or well informed, they weren’t available or attuned to my needs as a client, and in the end they failed to deliver on the expectations or goals that they had set for themselves. But my experience with Eve Maestre was the complete opposite! She was very understanding, professional, and respectful from the moment I hired her as my attorney. She made herself available for questions throughout the entire process. She was very exact and direct with what was happening, why it was happening, and what options I had. At times during court proceedings, she had to redirect judges and prosecutors to details, evidence, and information they were misunderstanding or flat out wrong about, which highlighted her commitment and attention to the case. I felt she always had my best interest in mind and in the end the felony charge was dropped because of her hard work. It’s as simple as that! Hire her if you need help!

Our first time lawyer experience was GREAT!

We never thought we would have to hire a criminal defense attorney but unfortunately, our autistic son got tangled up in legal issues so needless to say, we were very scared and anxious for him. We shopped around and Eve was highly recommended to us…from another lawyer! We are so grateful that our first time hiring a lawyer went smoothly and well. Eve was very honest, professional, explained legalese language in layman’s term so we didn’t feel overwhelmed, provided her experience/insights to prepare and reassure us, and was very responsive to our needs!! Her fees were also very reasonable so it lessened our burden and anxiety in this traumatic process. But the best news was that her representation got our son’s charges dropped so our holidays was definitely “merry and bright”!! We are truly appreciative and thankful for Eve Maestre and highly recommend her!!

Expungement

I waited 22 years to hire a lawyer. They worked with me on payments. Being across country I was skeptical. They handled everything through email and text. It was a wonderful job. I finally have my record expunged. I'm so happy with everything Eve did. I would recommend for anyone.

Eve Maestre and Michael Scafiddi were blessings in my life

Eve Maestre and Michael Scafiddi represented me in my case. They brought in medical professionals for my defense. Attacked the case at the DAs weakest points and proved that I shouldn’t be charged with what they had filed. They answered all questions at any time, day or night. I would of been lost without them. Their office staff was so greeting and always informed me of upcoming hearings or meetings I needed to attend. I am forever grateful for the help and it’s a true gift what they do for people in their worse situations. No judgments. Always welcomed with open arms. Highly professional, dedicated team on my side

I was in a tough situation, facing potential jail time for gun charges. Michael Scafiddi and Eve Maestre nailed it - they coordinated an aggressive approach to intervene before charges were filed. Exceptional performance

I was "picked out of a group" of cars and given a speeding ticket. I disagreed with the ticket and Eve placed a legal argument that explained my concerns. She successfully had the ticket thrown out. She is professional and I highly recommend her.

Incredible Job!

I was stopped at a checkpoint in Pacific Beach and was arrested for a DUI. I thought for sure I would be convicted of a DUI but my amazing attorney Eve Maestre, did her due diligence and found that the checkpoint was not done to legal standards. She was able to successfully get the DMV portion thrown out and on the criminal side she got the charge reduced to a WET RECKLESS! I was beyond thrilled with the news and she was so professional every step of the way. Do not hesitate to hire her! She is so worth it!!!

Extremely Professional, Compassionate and Effective Attorney

I had recently graduated from college and was encountering severe difficulties in securing a position (job) due to my background history. Over the past 4 years, I worked extremely hard on improving my life decisions in order to provide and be a better father to my two-year-old daughter. I was serving 3 an a half years of a 5-year probation period for a third DUI offense and was seeking early termination of my probation and expungement. Although the DA opposed my request, my attorney, Eve Maestre, was able to effectively plead my case to the judge and they granted our motion for both early termination of probation and expungement. Exceptional attorney. A pleasure to work with. Would definitely recommend Eve to anyone seeking outstanding legal representation.

Excellent

Our son did a very foolish thing, and we struggled with letting the chips fall where they may and letting the next 10 years of his life be marked; or working with a lawyer that could protect his rights and advocate for him. We were confused about the process, and honestly didn't even know where to begin. Eve walked us through each step and advised us of our options. We asked endless questions and Eve was always quick to respond. Eve was at every court date. She went the extra mile for us. In the end, the charges were dropped at both the court and the DMV. We are so grateful to Eve Maestre and Scafiddi Law.
