Scafiddi. He has attended defense-oriented trainings related to Sex Crimes, Gang Crimes, Homicide, Trial Practice, and has participated in the California Death Penalty Seminar semi-annually.
Mr. Moore has successfully defended criminal cases ranging from Death Penalty/Homicide to Child Molestation to misdemeanor Domestic Violence. My family and I are extremely grateful to have had Jeff represent my brother. He goes on and beyond to advocate for his clients. He is quiet at times and doesn’t like to talk much about the case over the phone because he looks out for your best interest. He is very detail oriented and his calmness ke...

Constantly berated me and pushed me to sign a plea bargain for a Felony. His fee was almost $30,000 for this treatment. Never discussed the positive merits of my case. I was vulnerable at the time and he took full advantage of my situation. Find a different attorney.

Jeff represented me twice. He plead down without consulting me and does not communicate well. He charges a ton of money upfront for little to no results.
Ah yes, the bravery and reliability of the anonymous internet hit piece. I'd love to respond to this libel specifically, but since it's not true and is anonymous I'm unable to. I can say that my phone is answered by a human receptionist 24/7, and calls are put through to my cell when I'm available but out of the office (including nights and weekends). I also communicate with my clients by email, text, and office visits. As to the allegation that I "plead down" a client without consulting him or her, this is a flat out lie. I can say that without knowing who this client is because it has never happened. Ever. So, I'll challenge the reviewer to identify him or herself and allow me to post the details of the cases and the dispositions online. Then we can let the readers be the judge. I have no idea what the motivation was for this "review." I probably never will. On the off chance that the alleged client responds, I look forward to refuting these baseless charges.

I regularly read his Avvo Q and A contributions and I have consulted with him in the past about a serious matter involving the intersection of criminal law and professional licensing law. "I endorse this lawyer. Jeff Moore is a veteran lawyer whose reputation in the legal community is outstanding. He is a former Deputy District Attorney who for the last six years has represented people accused of serious crimes. His trial skills but him in a very select circle of local attorney's. His knowledge of criminal law and his reputation among Judges other attorney's and local DA's provide his clients the greatest chance of success. Jeff's knowledge has placed him into the top 1% of local lawyers who are allowed to represent clients in Death Penalty Cases. I know in the DP cases he has gone to trial on both times the clients did not receive the death penalty. He is a true advocate for his clients and does not shy away from trial. He handles all types of cases with an emphasis on serious felony matters. On a personal note Jeff is a dedicated member of his community and a wonderful father and husband. He simply cares about all people. It is my honor to endorse this lawyer !"
