About a year ago I was charged with a felony DUI with injuries. My arrest dramatically affected my career and my life. I was referred to Mike Scafiddi from a trustworthy college of mine. Scafiddi immediately took my case and began fighting for my rights and to prove my innocence. During the DMW heari...ng, Scafiddi requested an in person hearing before the DMW Hearing Officer. He was able to schedule three different appearances and spent more than four hours before the Hearing officer. The DA's office continued the case over and over because they were not ready as Scafiddi pushed them to drop the case. After the judge got pissed at the DA, they were forced to set dates for trail. Scafiddi met with the supervising DA and conference the case with her. After the DA's office was backed into a corner by Scafiddi's expertise and willingness to go to trial if need be, the DA's office realized it would be an embarrassment to the arresting officer to put him on the stand, they offered me a drunk in public charge. Following a small fine, it was finally over for me. Scafiddi got the case from a felony DUI to a misdemeanor drunk in public.
