My experience with Susan was years ago now, but I will never forget it. While my bankruptcy went through in the end, she was the most unprofessional person I’ve ever dealt with in such an important position. She gossiped about staff after they made mistakes, mistook me with another client and nearly... ruined a vacation when she called me telling me I HAD to be in Austin, and was late to something she demanded I be early to, among other issues. None of these mistakes, which are forgivable on their own, came with an apology. After my case was over and I posted a critical review she threatened to sue me, even going so far as to send me a fake case number so I would think she had filed. Yelp even has evidence one can view from another unsatisfied customer she threatened. It amazes me that a lawyer can build a successful business while acting less professional than a sixteen-year-old at their first job. I would never, ever recommend her

I went to see Susan Taylor shortly after she and I spoke on the telephone the first time. Our first meeting was in her Austin office off 15th street. After meeting Mrs Taylor, I knew that she would be the one to represent me. Susan is licensed, competent, and prepared to take on anything that com...es her way. She made me feel comfortable and welcome with her wonderful ability to adapt to my interests and life experience. After being a police officer for 10 years, I have issues trusting most people, and with good reason. After leaving law enforcement, I returned to Austin and decided I wanted to become a commercial pilot. I enrolled in Deltas flight school in Sanford, Florida and shortly after moved to Florida. I became a Commercial Pilot rated to fly both single engine and multi-engine aircraft for hire, and was IFR (instrument flight rules)I rated to fly with little to no visibility. I am almost 50, and have been healthy my whole life. In the last 3 years I have had more negative things happen than most could handle. I have had a heart attack, stroke, and a major brain bleed (aneurism) in January. This last hospitalization was 4 months long, and I know now more than ever, just how important family can be. There is no way I could have survived without my wonderful supportive family. In aviation, a pilot 40 years old and older must renew their medical every 6 months to fly commercially with passengers, and it must be a 1st class medical. My story is a perfect example of how things can turn around in your life with little or no warning. Because of my most resent Aneurism in January, obtaining a first class medical is highly unlikely according to my primary physician, who at one tone was an FAA medical examiner and issued the Medicals for flying. So that is the reason I am filing chapter 7, it’s the only viable option I have. I went with Susan Taylor for legal representation because I was impressed when we met.
