I was really pleased with this office at first. I felt heard and understood even if they didn't agree with my decisions. Overtime though... there became a huge separation in our decisions and opinions. Lack of communication on both sides caused issues as well as misunderstanding, mistrust and my case was extremely difficult... they had difficulty understanding my wants and I had difficulty feeling even remotely prepared for things like depositions and court due to having no significant guide through my lawyer as to what to expect. My past is hard for most people to get past due to having no understanding of it unless someone has gone through it but this past also leads me to have extremely strict views of morals and guidelines... which is correct in some ways and in others it's totally ineffective.
By the end of my time with this law firm.... David was off my case due to frustrations and I had Shannon whom works for him. I had grown extremely angry at this whole firm as they had grown extremely angry with me. Ultimately what finally has created a huge negative for me was their inability to follow anything they say. Even firing each other was difficult because their paperwork was incomplete even after they told me I had five days to sign. Next, I had asked when I could pick up my documents and have in an email where the attorney had said her paralegal was done putting it together and I could pick up at my convenience. I went in one morning and was told it wasn't together. I did ultimately get a prompt call however I also have my own life to tend to. I went back at my convenience again... only to be confronted with five big boxes that I immediately had to sign as having received EVERYTHING. Now, if I learned anything in my case... it's that I need to be sure before I sign anything so I said that I'd have to take most of it at a different time after I was able to look through it all. Now - I'm pretty frustrated already considering everything and including the idea that I had a hour and a half till they closed.... this made matters worse once the paralegal came in and told me she didn't have time to deal with me today and threatened to have the cops called on me if I didn't live by their rules which was to either get out empty handed or sign the paperwork and take my stuff -without looking through it-. We both had gotten heated at this point but she just kept saying they weren't a storage unit and that I could sign the paper and tell them later if something was missing. Considering other lawyers in this case have said things were missing and I have witnessed paperwork being wrong... I wasn't going to take chances.
Again we both got heated but ultimately this entire thing was over the top. I sat in the hallway trying to compose myself with my five boxes afterwards to confirm I could actually carry them downstairs.
Their financial person is alright as she did offer to help me considering everything but at that point I didn't want help and she wouldn't take no for an answer and leave me alone... part of her charm as a financial person to get people to pay.
The entire office was closed locked and empty by 415pm even though they close at 5 which was confirmed with a phone call earlier in the day. This explains why it was empty when I came at 430 the week prior. Had I been told they were leaving early than I would have either came a different day or been more aware of their time constraints.
I think David, Shannon and the rest of the office could be good for perhaps most people... but not with difficult cases and clients.
Just be prepared if working with this office that you need to double check things and if you're like me and you can't keep your mouth shut when bad things happen... just find a different law firm to save both yalls time and emotions.
Lots of players and lots of mistakes on all sides led to my daughter having less than she deserved so far.

David has been in his profession for many years and takes great pride in what he does.
In my particular case he was very knowledgeable about all the different aspects of Family Law and the court system. From the beginning ... he understood how important it is for me to be a father and highly involved in my son's life. He showed this same passion as he represented me throughout my custody case. He made certain to protect my rights as a father and to fight for me in all aspects of my case even to the point of getting an injunction against my ex because she was harassing my workplace.
During trial ... David was very prepared and represented me well. He did a good job of communicating to the court what was actually taking place in my situation and the necessity for a modification to the custody. As a result ... we were able to get a change in custody and some other aspects of the order.
I would highly recommend David for your divorce/custody needs!

The process of setting up a trust can be daunting, but I will say Gary and Amber made it an easier pill to swallow. Gary explained everything in layman's terms and Amber was the icing on the cake. It was a pleasure dealing with them both and we feel certain that our legacy for our children has been competently secured.

As with any divorce, it's difficult. Attorney Wynne's professional demeanor helped me a great deal because I was intensely suffering. He helped me to understand that I actually was entitled to half of the property and he helped me get it. He has a great method of getting both parties to be fair and to agree.
He then helped me to plan out a Pet Trust Fund for my heirs. This is an awesome concept because it cares for both my pets and my loved ones. David Wynne is a caring man, hates to see divorce happen if it doesn't need to but will take care to help his client not hurt anymore.
I heartily recommend Attorney Wynne and his staff for the services he specializes in. He is a great lawyer!

Very satisfied. Divorce a tricky proposition with high emotions. Mr. Wynne was very attentive to my concerns but also offered sage advice as to risk/reward ratio and underlying costs. In the end its a business decision and he helped me understand that - being vindictive is a losing proposition as it really only racks up lawyer fees. When all said and done, divorced finalized to my complete satisfaction with total cost being only the original retainer. No additional fees were assessed. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful experience with everyone at the firm preparing our wills and other documents. David was very helpful in suggesting alternatives that fit our needs demonstrating his knowledge. Amber was thorough in completing the process and answering our questions. From the instant we entered the office in Grapevine everyone was very friendly and helpful. We highly recommend using this firm.

I just completed a difficult 2-year divorce and could not have been represented any better than David provided. I left my first attorney because of miserable performance, arrogant personality, and lack of communication. David was recommended to me by a friend, and the experience could not have been better. David is on top of the legal issues, a well versed litigator with an excellent staff, and a balanced representative with opposing counsel. He is not afraid to provide sound opposing advice, even when I was asking him to do something he thought was not going to advance my case in my best interest. Divorce is an ugly process, and it get's emotional for all parties. I was certain at times that I thought we should be doing "A", "B", and "C", and David always took the time to discuss each issue with me and give me his opinions on how to proceed. We didn't always agree, but I will say his instincts were right 100% of the time.
I would HIGHLY recommend David to anyone seeking family law representation. I also know through my 2-year relationship with him, that he provides OUTSTANDING estate planning work as well. If you are not satisfied with how your divorce representation is proceeding, no matter where you are in the process, I recommend consulting with David. It's very likely you will get the answers you are looking for.

Recently I settled my custody modification with the one and only attorney I truly trust, David Wynne. This is the second time he has guided, inspired, and really pushed my rights to the forefront of the courts minds. Not only did I get what I need to keep my children safe, but I got more than I asked for. David not only is extremely commanding in the courtroom, but also out of the courtroom dealing with opposing counsel. David is not only a great attorney, he also cares for his clients and their families. He and his firm are worth every cent. I recommend you stop looking and hire his firm.

David is one of the good guys! Extremely intelligent and very compassionate as well. He was so good that he spoiled me - I moved out of state and needed Attorneys and quickly learned that none of them were as good as David. I will have to move back to TX just so I have a good Attorney:-) I highly recommend him anytime.
