Duane is the best lawyer, hands down. My divorce was a nightmare that drug on over 2 years, and not because of wealth or fame. My ex is "special". Originally, I chose a lawyer (lawyer 1) from a facebook moms group. He was fine, but a man I started dating, suggested lawyer 1 wasn't doing enough to be ...a "pitbull" and suggested I change to a woman he knew. Lawyer 2 was horrible. We sat through a day of mediation and she didn't say one thing, didn't fight for me at all. I literally could have been sitting there with a rock. I switched to Duane (lawyer 3) a year and a half ago. Despite my ex making things difficult, Duane was a rock star. We went to court, did mediation, went to arbitration and every time he brought wisdom, great advice and compassion. Here's an example. We were at court the day after Easter 2016. In the lobby, I made an off-handed comment to Duane about how my Easter was, and mentioned I had to work. Even though I should have been with my kids, I let them go with my ex since I was working. During the trial, opposing counsel came out of left field and tried to take a dig at me by claiming I prevent my ex from seeing the kids. Duane, remembering an off-handed comment about how my Easter was, immediately brought that up and made them look like morons for trying to lie. This is how Duane was throughout my entire case. He is so sharp. Nothing is lost on him. While in mediation and arbitration, you need someone who thinks quick on their feet, who won't let things slip through the cracks and can respond to/handle opposing counsel's shenanigans. Duane knew how to handle my ex's attorney who, quite frankly, was a hot head. Duane remained calm and dealt with him like you'd handle a 5 year old throwing a temper tantrum. It was perfect. I could not be more impressed with Duane and his entire team....Kelly, Toya and Shelby. I love too, that they truly care about you as a client. They felt bad for everything my ex put me through and how long this case drug on. You can't go wrong with Coker Legal. Trust me, 3rd time really was the charm!
