A Naperville Divorce Attorney Who Cares

Don Pesce is a lawyer with a great understanding of both divorce law and also the human side of a divorce. During the process he was able to explain how various aspects of the divorce proceeding would flow, the temperament of specific judges, and the wisdom of pursuing various avenues during the pro...cess. He is truly an advocate in every sense of the word. He gave excellent advice on how to best present the facts, he shared his experiences to guide me through creating the best possible divorce decree and parenting agreement, and he helped contain my legal fees by clearly defining the likely return on my time and money in fighting specific battles. Divorce is unpleasant in many ways. I highly recommend Don as someone with the skills to help in all aspects of whatever you may encounter.

Really Helpful

I went to Don to take my ex-husband back to court for increased child support after 10 years of being divorced. I didn't care for my original lawyer who charged me $200 up front to just talk to her about the idea of taking my ex back to court. Overall, I was apprehensive about the cost and hassle of... going back to court. Don listened to my needs and took the time to explain the next steps clearly. He told me more in our first one-hour free consultation than my original divorce lawyer did through the whole process 10 years ago or even when I talked to her about going back to court. Don was communicative and I felt I really had an advocate who was fighting for me. He really went the extra mile when my ex attempted to delay the decision. Don requested an impromptu meeting in judges chambers on the spot and my ex was ordered to comply and the child support was increased (state minimum had gone up twice since my original divorce and my original lawyer never mentioned this or that I ever had any avenue for an increase). Don was great at explaining how judges usually rule and what is and is not normal during such proceedings. I was also pleasantly surprised that Don completed all the necessary paperwork for filing himself, because my first time around I had to complete a great deal of the paperwork or proof read carefully to correct errors from a paralegal. Don completed the paperwork accurately and if I had any questions, he answered them right away. He was absolutely great to work with and I would recommend him to anyone going through a divorce or needing to go back to court for additional proceedings.

Divorce

My divorce was very unexpected. Don helped me deal with the legal side and looked out for my future while I was in a very hurt state.

Don's the Don

Cant say enough good things about the man. If you need a divorce Lawyer look no further. The ex was out for blood. Don looked after me when I was at my lowest and did not give her an inch. He has seen it all before He knows what the opposing lawyers next move is and is always one step ahead, He does ...not waste your time or money on unnecessary court attendances. He also knows the Judges and knows pretty much what they will or will not grant. I got the best settlement I could have hoped for.

Good Experience

Don is professional, knowledgeable and will tell you things as they are. He helped me tremendously in my divorce case. He was available on the weekends if needed and was very thorough with paperwork.
