Professional and dedicated

After a consultation with Donato Pesce I knew he was the lawyer for my divorce and child custody case. He was very knowledgeable in the law and dedicated to helping me fight for what was right in my situation. I am very pleased with his professionalism and the outcome. I was ignorant to American laws... and he explained every step to me as we went so that I was completely prepared for everything. Truely an understanding and kind person. He doesn't just look at you like a paycheck. Definitely would recommend to anyone needing a family court attorney.

A TRUE BLESSING TO HAVE!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had a tough time with child custody a few years back. Then I met Don Pesce. He was comforting, knowledgeable, and took the time to talk to me whenever I needed him. He ALWAYS kept me in the loop in regards to what was going on. When he left the firm I was working with, I dropped everything to fi...nd Don to assure that he was still able to work on my case, and sure enough, he continued my case and saw it through to to the end. He was the only person I trusted to help me out. He instilled that comfort and trust with me, and I knew he was going to work as hard as he could to allow me to keep my child safe and in the right environment. Thanks to Don, my son is happy, thriving, and we couldn't be more thrilled with our outcome. Thank you Don for EVERYTHING. Truly a blessing to have found you!!!!

Divorce

My divorce was very unexpected. Don helped me deal with the legal side and looked out for my future while I was in a very hurt state.

Lacked Professionalism and Integrity

Don Pesce I had a very disappointing experience with Don Pesce. In my opinion, he did not handle my case with the diligence and professionalism I expected. There were clear signs of a lack of preparation and follow-through, and I felt that he did not advocate effectively on my behalf. When I m...ade the difficult decision to replace him, instead of handling the transition with maturity and professionalism, he responded with what I can only describe as a tantrum. His behavior after being removed was not only unprofessional but bordered on sabotaging the case, which I believe stemmed from personal resentment rather than a commitment to ethical conduct. I’m sharing this review in the hope that others approach their decision with full awareness. Integrity, accountability, and composure are essential qualities in legal representation—and unfortunately, I did not see those here.

Dragged

Initially Don told me my divorce case would be simple and easy and it would not take a long time. Fast forward 4 years things are still not complete. I had to do majority of the work, he can talk the game on the phone and sure charge you for it but when it came to getting stuff done it was different ...story. He sits on things is not being proactive, unless its time to charge you then very proactive and responses come right away . If your case is in cook county you wont even deal with him but his associate who is good but same does not get stuff done. I ended up letting him go and handling case on my own and getting things done vs awaiting weeks for response and dragging things along. I did not feel like he was on my side at all but giving it to the other party and blaming delay on them..
