Musilli Brennan Associates PLLC consists of five attorneys having close to 200 years of practice experience in the Michigan and other states, the Federal Courts, as well as adminsitrative, arbitration and mediation venues,

Replied last December 16, 2019In my opinion, it is unprofessional to "sugar coat" advice or provide false hope. To my recollection, there were extensive and somewhat contradictory facts and theories of recovery discussed, some of which implied it was doubtful the possible client could be represented to HER ultimate satisfaction. Due to the complex and fact-driven nature of the matter, it could not be even preliminarily evaluated as to is merit, the availability of admissible evidence, the costs of its prosecution, amount of damages that might be proven (or the probability of collection in the event of success) in a telephone call or short office conference. Therefore it was proposed that if the potential client was interested in the firm's formal and reasoned review and a firm opinion as to the merit of her various claims and damage theories, and that such professional services are what the firm provides, and has to be paid for if it is going to continue to do so. Further, she was advised that until the review occurred and the results evaluated there could be no commitment to engage for full representation. I am sorry that my frank and honest communication did not please the potential client, however, I stand by my responses.
