No one ever wants to have to file Bankruptcy. Mr. Lewis made the process as least stressful as possible. He always responded to emails and phone calls promptly. Eric Lewis is one of a kind in the world of lawyers, he truly takes to heart the intention of the founding fathers who insured the ability and the natural right to shed the oppressive weight of debt by including it in the Constitution before the Bill of Rights as well as in Indiana's own constitution in Article One that recognizes the "privilege of the debtor to enjoy the necessary comforts of life" by keeping a reasonable amount of property exempt from seizure by creditors. Reflecting on our own experience of Chapter 13 bankruptcy, there is no denying that having someone with Eric Lewis' character and work ethic having one's back was the most helpful attribute to have.
