I consider myself a hard working, independent woman who has always taken pride in what I do and how I do it. After a 19 year marriage and 3 wonderful children later, I found myself in a place I never thought I would be...afraid, alone, and in serious debt. I didn't know what to do, and denial was definitely NOT working anymore. I was getting collection calls ALL the time, I was nervous and anxious ALL the time. I still had to keep things running as a single mother, but I literally felt like I was drowning and I was running out of money. I felt defeated and alone. I considered debt consolidation/counseling but even that seemed overwhelming. I stopped into a library one afternoon and happened to walk across a book dealing with bankruptcy. It was really the last thing I wanted to do. I figured I could at least talk to a lawyer, no harm in that. I knew Scott Kramer from a friend of mine. I decided to call him and set up a visit. I remember sitting across from him, just crying. "this isn't me", "I shouldn't be here", I'm not a bad person". Scott was amazing. He made me realize that EVERYBODY deserves a second chance...he was right! I took a deep breathe, stood up, shook his hand and started the filing process with him. The entire time Scott made me feel okay about what I was doing. He was absolutely the most professional, yet caring lawyer I had ever met or worked with. He kept me updated on the process, managed my expectations, answered all my crazy questions...he was great! Once the process was finished, I felt a HUGE sense of relief, it really did feel like a ton of bricks off my chest. The most incredible thing....I was even able to buy a house after only 2 years! I have heard others talk about their bankruptcy experience and it makes me cringe to hear what some of them went through. My experience was the best. I HIGHLY recommend Scott Kramer.

Scott has done an outstanding job handling my bankruptcy. He stayed on top of all aspects of it and kept me informed every step of the way. By the far the best experience I have had with an attorney!!

I was given Scott's name from a person who said he would be able to help me. I had been through a very messy divorce and had been trying to pay my bills for three years. I could not do it any longer and I was at my wits end. Filing for bankruptcy was just not in my character. All my life I've been taught to pay my bills and I had accomplished that until my divorce. I excepted all of our debt and a major amount to the feds. There was just not enough income to make it. I thought I could make it, but I couldn't. I was embarrassed I was a fraid I would be humiliated . So I made an appointment with Scott Kramer. When I first met him I felt like I had known him for years he was kind, considerate and treated me with dignity. His assistance was wonderful. He Explained my situation and what he felt was best for me. I agreed and we proceeded with my bankruptcy chapter 13. During the time of my bankruptcy I had an unfortunate accident. I had loaned my car to a friend and a young lady pulled out in front of him and it totaled my van. I had nothing I got measly pennies for my van and I have no vehicle. Once again I talk to Scott and explain my situation Scott immediately jumped on and got me permission to purchase a vehicle so I still could continue with my life. This young man is absolutely amazing and I highly recommend that anyone needing assistance contact Scott Krammer attorney-at-law.
I thank you from the bottom my heart for your kindness, respect, thoughtfulness and treating me like a human being.

After hiring somewhat reluctant Mr. Kramer to represent my mother (who had recently suffered a stroke) in a pretty standard foreclosure case, I was under the impression that at least all the basic filings and motions with the court would be handled, and they were. Motions and answers were filed in a timely manner. However, the issues began to emerge when it came time for mediation. The creditor requested certain financial information from my mother in preparation for the mediation, which by the way is optional to attend. Nonetheless, we (my mother assisted by her sons) planned to attend for a workout. Given my mother's health and condition, however, gathering all the information proved to be a difficult and time consuming task. Then strangely seemingly out of nowhere Mr. Kramer demanded that was get the creditor's paperwork to him for work-out by a certain date and time (end of business on Wednesday) or else he would quit the case. What??? In any case, I sent the completed documents to him on that Wednesday on behalf of my mother. No further correspondence. That's when I was surprised to find a couple of months later that Mr. Kramer had withdrawn himself from my mother's case. I contacted his legal assistant to verify, and she confirmed. I asked what happened, and she mentioned the documents. However, I confirmed the documents had been sent. There was no response. No admission of error. Just dropped the case...just like that. Perhaps he was too busy with other non-generic cases, perhaps there were other reasons. However, this kind of attorney behavior towards clients relying on legal representation at a critical time borders on unethical. It certainly isn't moral, if he even cares what that it. At the very least, you might expect an apology and a perhaps an offer to re-represent as counsel. Not even that.

Sometimes, despite my best intentions, things don't always turn out the way I thought they would. Personal financial decisions I thought were calculated risks turned into a devastating tumble down the road of life. Stressed, emotional, and embarrassed I felt I wasn’t in control anymore. I didn’t know who to talk to or where to turn. If I didn’t act soon my financial life would be dictated by others. I needed discrete, professional help.
I went on the internet to research my options and start the ball rolling in the right direction. I looked at debt consolidation, buy down, and bankruptcy options. I needed to talk to someone face to face instead of on the phone. I needed someone who could discuss all the options and tell me the consequences of each. I came across Scott Kramer on the internet and gave his office call to set an appointment. Soon I was sitting in Mr. Kramer’s office telling him about my circumstances. Mr. Kramer listened to me and put me at ease. I began to feel the stress lift as he explained the different options and we began to formalize a plan of recovery. I decided the best option would be bankruptcy.
Throughout the process, Mr. Kramer was always available to answer my questions and keep me informed of what was going on and what was going to happen next. I was in the capable hands of an experienced advocate that is known and respected in the local courts. The court discharged my debt and now I’m rebuilding my credit. Thank you Mr. Kramer.

I can't say enough about Mr. Kramer. The decision to file bankruptcy was the most difficult decision we have faced so far, but after having our initial consultation with Mr. Kramer, our fears were put to rest. We were planning a Chapter 13, but do to unforeseen circumstances regarding employment, we ended up filing as a Chapter 7. He kept us informed every step of the way, and presented the facts in easy to understand and honest terms. Our case was discharged and closed without issue. We have our fresh start, and we owe it all to Mr. Kramer!

There are no words I can use to describe how I want thank Mr. Kramer. My case was complicated and I went to see 3 other lawyers before going to see Scott Kramer. Nobody knew what to do with my case and some wouldn't even try to do it. But Mr. Kramer knew exactly what to do and I was so thankful he took my case. He knows his job very well and was very patience with me with my hearing loss as well. Working with him and his team was a wonderful experience. I received word from Mr. Kramer yesterday that my bankruptcy case had been discharged. I still had 3 years left to pay on it. He did an amazing job on my case. If you go with Mr. Kramer as your bankruptcy lawyer, you will not be disappointed. I will refer anyone and everyone to him who needs his services. He is simply amazing at his job. I feel I was very well blessed the day I met Mr. Kramer and he was kind enough to take my case. God bless you Mr. Kramer and thank you for everything you did to make this experience as easy as possible on me. Thank you

Scott Kramer was referred to me due the detail and complexity of my case. After interviewing several attorneys the choice to work with Mr. Kramer was clear. Several meeting took place over the course of a year and at present we receive follow-up and confirmation our case is being handled properly and professionally. Mr. Kramer put into action the plan best suited to our situation. We are confident his representation, of me and my companies, benefitted all to the best of our abilities.
