I am fortunate to have had a rigorous legal education and varied legal career that form an excellent foundation from which I practice. I represent my clients the way I would want to be represented and do my best to communcate promptly, well and often so each step of the process is understood. I pride myself on doing my very best for my clients and getting them through the legal process efficiently and as painlessly as possible. In addition to being an attorney, I am also a mother to my 14 year old boy and 12 year old girl. My husband and I have been married for 19 years, and live in Washington Township, close to my law office. I love to read, run and hike with my 3 dogs, all sweet rescues (a massive St. Bernard, a Pug/Terrier mix and a Shepherd mix). We also have 2 cats so our house is at its capacity, as I often remind my children. I really enjoy getting to know my clients and helping them achieve their legal objectives the best way possible, both financially and emotionally.

Helen was my attorney during my divorce. She listened to my concerns and fought for everything I needed in order to keep my house and raise my two children. She was exceptional and went above and beyond what I thought an attorney would need to do. She was always available to answer questions and guid...

Helen provided me the highest level of service and guidance needed to work through my divorce and custody case. Through a challenging process, she provided sound advice, empathy and support, and we achieved our desired outcome. I truly believe in situations like this, you get what you pay for. I'm v...

After getting out of an absuive situation with my child, I finally got up enough courage to consult with a lawyer over child custody with my abuser. I chose Ms. Wallace because she describes herself as caring and understanding. That was absolutely NOT the case. As I was explaining my situation to her...
Hello. I am so sorry you felt this way. I am not sure who you are as you did not leave your name, but it appears you may have come in for a consult but did not retain me. It truly does not sound like you met with me. I cannot recall ever not being sympathetic to anyone in a domestic violence situation and certainly never victim blame or end consultations because people can't stop crying. I have tissues on my conference room table so one would have been within your reach if you needed one even if I had not handed one to you as I usually do when people are upset. Your description of me is completely outside my character and practice. Sometimes in difficult situations things can be misinterpreted. If you would like to give me a call, I would be happy to discuss things with you. I truly regret you believe I was insensitive.

She was very rude even though I paid for her to be my attorney. Very condescending. Does not take Domestic Violence seriously AT ALL. Blames the woman for being battered. She actually had the nerve to tell me that keeping my ex away from me would be "vindictive" of me. She called me emotional ti...
Unfortunately I don't know who you are and even if I did I could not comment on the specifics of your case due to attorney/client privilege if I actually represented you. However, generally speaking, I can state that I give my clients the best legal advice I can offer. Sometimes it is not want they want to hear. However, it is my duty as an attorney to explain the law to my clients and advise them how to conduct themselves in order to receive the best legal outcome possible. I appreciate the feedback, and regret you believe I blame women for being battered. Nothing could be further from the truth. The comment that I wouldn't deal with a potential client "until she was done with all the crying" is completely inaccurate. I love being a family lawyer and hold women in high regard. I believe I am extremely professional. Thank you for taking the time to give your thoughts. If you would like to discuss the specifics of your case, and what happened and why, please do not hesitate to contact me.

I have known Helen professionally for several years, and have always found her to be highly competent in her work, and extremely thorough. I have referred clients to her for family matters, and they have always reported back how well she did for them, and how much she cared about their well-being. ...
"I endorse this lawyer. Helen graduated from one of the very top notch law schools in the country and gained valuable experience from her work at the DOJ in Washington. She's seen both sides of cases too, from her work at legal aid and also the prosecutor's office. And she has a great way of communicating with her clients too, which you can see from her published Avvo Legal Guides. With years of experience behind her in Family Law, Bankruptcy Law, Criminal Law and other areas too - she is one of the few attorneys who can really call themselves an experienced General Practice attorney. And, having worked in a GP firm, I can tell you that it's a lot tougher to be a GP attorney than most people realize. If you need help in any of her areas of law, and her office is anywhere near you, I highly recommend her to you."
"I endorse this lawyer. Very intelligent and capable lawyer. Excellent client relations. Well-respected throughout legal community."
"Helen Wallace is an outstanding attorney and I highly recommend her to you if you are looking for an attorney in any area of family law from divorce & separation to child custody to child support to post decree matters. I have represented clients on the opposite side of cases from her and I know from personal experience that she is a formidable opponent. She is well versed in all areas of family law and she is always well prepared for court. She will zealously represent you and work hard to achieve your objectives."
"I highly endorse this lawyer. Attorney Wallace has impressive credentials and a wealth of experirence. I would strongly recommend this attorney to anyone in the Centerville, OH area in need of an experienced and thorough bankruptcy attorney."
"I endorse this lawyer. Helen is an intelligent, articulate, and compassionate attorney who provides skilled and caring advocacy to her representation of her clients. She strives to maintain her skills at the highest level by actively participating in continuing education programs on the subject of bankruptcy. She is an attorney who you can work with as opposing counsel, and know that you're dealing with a person of integrity."
"I endorse this lawyer. I have known Helen for years and she has always been very ethical, hardworking and prompt. She is a good advocate and a friendly, compassionate lawyer. She is a good opponent."
"I have worked with Helen on several juvenile custody cases and have always found her to be thoroughly prepared and knowledgeable about the case and the law. She is a zealous advocate for her clients and is easy to work with as opposing counsel."
"In my experiences with Helen over the past several years, she is always very well prepared and efficient. Her clients seem very relaxed as I'm sure she has prepared them just as well. Helen's experience and her work ethic make her a valuable member of this legal community."
"Helen has started to become a fixture in the Dayton bankruptcy community through her hard work and dedication to achieving the best results for her clients."
