A TRUE LIFE SAVER!

I consider myself a hard working, independent woman who has always taken pride in what I do and how I do it. After a 19 year marriage and 3 wonderful children later, I found myself in a place I never thought I would be...afraid, alone, and in serious debt. I didn't know what to do, and denial was d...efinitely NOT working anymore. I was getting collection calls ALL the time, I was nervous and anxious ALL the time. I still had to keep things running as a single mother, but I literally felt like I was drowning and I was running out of money. I felt defeated and alone. I considered debt consolidation/counseling but even that seemed overwhelming. I stopped into a library one afternoon and happened to walk across a book dealing with bankruptcy. It was really the last thing I wanted to do. I figured I could at least talk to a lawyer, no harm in that. I knew Scott Kramer from a friend of mine. I decided to call him and set up a visit. I remember sitting across from him, just crying. "this isn't me", "I shouldn't be here", I'm not a bad person". Scott was amazing. He made me realize that EVERYBODY deserves a second chance...he was right! I took a deep breathe, stood up, shook his hand and started the filing process with him. The entire time Scott made me feel okay about what I was doing. He was absolutely the most professional, yet caring lawyer I had ever met or worked with. He kept me updated on the process, managed my expectations, answered all my crazy questions...he was great! Once the process was finished, I felt a HUGE sense of relief, it really did feel like a ton of bricks off my chest. The most incredible thing....I was even able to buy a house after only 2 years! I have heard others talk about their bankruptcy experience and it makes me cringe to hear what some of them went through. My experience was the best. I HIGHLY recommend Scott Kramer.

Peace of Mind & A Fresh Start

Sometimes, despite my best intentions, things don't always turn out the way I thought they would. Personal financial decisions I thought were calculated risks turned into a devastating tumble down the road of life. Stressed, emotional, and embarrassed I felt I wasn’t in control anymore. I didn’t know... who to talk to or where to turn. If I didn’t act soon my financial life would be dictated by others. I needed discrete, professional help. I went on the internet to research my options and start the ball rolling in the right direction. I looked at debt consolidation, buy down, and bankruptcy options. I needed to talk to someone face to face instead of on the phone. I needed someone who could discuss all the options and tell me the consequences of each. I came across Scott Kramer on the internet and gave his office call to set an appointment. Soon I was sitting in Mr. Kramer’s office telling him about my circumstances. Mr. Kramer listened to me and put me at ease. I began to feel the stress lift as he explained the different options and we began to formalize a plan of recovery. I decided the best option would be bankruptcy. Throughout the process, Mr. Kramer was always available to answer my questions and keep me informed of what was going on and what was going to happen next. I was in the capable hands of an experienced advocate that is known and respected in the local courts. The court discharged my debt and now I’m rebuilding my credit. Thank you Mr. Kramer.

Thank you so much Scott Kramer!!

There are no words I can use to describe how I want thank Mr. Kramer. My case was complicated and I went to see 3 other lawyers before going to see Scott Kramer. Nobody knew what to do with my case and some wouldn't even try to do it. But Mr. Kramer knew exactly what to do and I was so thankful he to...ok my case. He knows his job very well and was very patience with me with my hearing loss as well. Working with him and his team was a wonderful experience. I received word from Mr. Kramer yesterday that my bankruptcy case had been discharged. I still had 3 years left to pay on it. He did an amazing job on my case. If you go with Mr. Kramer as your bankruptcy lawyer, you will not be disappointed. I will refer anyone and everyone to him who needs his services. He is simply amazing at his job. I feel I was very well blessed the day I met Mr. Kramer and he was kind enough to take my case. God bless you Mr. Kramer and thank you for everything you did to make this experience as easy as possible on me. Thank you

Thoughts on Scott Kramer

Scott Kramer is a professional and personable attorney whom I would highly recommend to others. I have noted several qualities in his work style and in his office on which I make this recommendation. When I first chose to pursue bankruptcy, I had a specific idea in mind of the kind of attorney I ...wanted to retain. Scott was one of the first recommendations made to me. This told me he had a good reputation. Scott’s in-office appointment manner is a confident combination of straightforward talk and clear client respect. He puts one at ease with how he mixes the business of the law with a comfortable conversational style. I considered bankruptcy for quite awhile before actually proceeding, and had initial concerns that the process might be a cold exercise in legal actions and paperwork. Scott is very effective at communicating steps to take and needed information in the context of a comfortable, sometimes-humorous atmosphere. His effectiveness took much of the potential “coldness” out of the equation. Scott openly welcomes calls and emails. I had many of both, and he was always promptly responsive and patient with my inquiries. His willingness to stay connected with me in these ways further contributed to my peace about how my case was being handled. Regarding patience – during my own experience I was late from time to time in providing requested documents or responding to information requests. I also had a late-in-the-process change in my filing orientation. At no time throughout my experience was there ever any expression of irritation or frustration. I certainly could have completed my formal filing much sooner had I handled my own tasks sooner or better. Scott was continually gracious throughout my own delays. Scott’s office staff reflects these same characteristics of Scott himself. For me and (I’m guessing) for others, the bankruptcy experience can be a difficult and potentially demoralizing time. The staff, like Scott himself, consistently interacted with me in respectful and empathetic ways. I realized over time that the staff, by the way they did things, was helping to create assurance in me almost to the degree that Scott himself was doing. Finally, Scott was willing to provide referrals to other attorneys outside his own scope of practice. During my bankruptcy process, I had a need for a different kind of attorney, and Scott made a recommendation to me on which I ultimately followed through. That other attorney proved a great help to me, validating the quality of Scott’s recommendation. And while recommendations or referrals may seem to some to be just a normal part of professional conduct, I looked upon Scott’s recommendation and the subsequent productiveness of it as another extension of his client-focused manner. Scott will serve anyone well who has a need for bankruptcy counsel and representation.
