Rachel Sabo is a founding partner of The Friedmann Firm LLC, a plaintiff’s employment litigation law firm. She is a Columbus Employment Attorney who graduated from Capital University Law School, where she was a two year member of the Mock Trial team, a member of the Philip J. Fulton Fall National Moot Court Team and participated in several other organizations. Rachel was awarded the Philip J. Fulton Best Oralist award for her outstanding oral advocacy during the Capital University Law School Fall National Moot Court Team Honor Round. Rachel also studied abroad at The Asser Institute in The Hague, Netherlands, studying international criminal and humanitarian law.

From Cleveland, Ohio, she attended Cleveland State University for her undergraduate studies and received a degree in Journalism and Promotional Communication.

Rachel is licensed to practice law in the State of Ohio and is admitted in The United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Ohio.

Rachel is a member of the following organizations and bar associations: Columbus Bar Association, Ohio Employment Lawyers Association, and Central Ohio Association for Justice, Women Lawyers of Franklin County, The Junior League of Columbus and the Nationwide Children’s Hospital Developmental Board. Rachel is a Board Member of the Women Lawyers of Franklin County, serving as the Networking Chair for three years and is currently serving as Secretary during the 2017-2018 year. Rachel is currently the Vice Chair of Fund Development for the Junior League of Columbus as well.

Rachel has been awarded the Super Lawyers Rising Star award in years 2015-2018, an honor bestowed on only 2.5% of attorneys.

Rachel was chosen as a member of The Ohio State Bar Association’s Leadership Academy for 2017, which she enjoyed immensely.

Absolutely wonderful!

I spent a lot of time looking for help with my legal matter and Ms. Sabo was one of the only ones who bothered to take the time to listen to me and the only one who agreed to help me. She was patient and persistent, honest and direct. I am so thankful that she took my case. I would definitely hire her again! Highly recommended!

Quick Answer

I just had a question and she was able to call me and provide a quick answer over the phone. I appreciated her being very quick about it getting back to me as the issue was time sensitive, and her answer allowed me to move forward with less worry. I will definitely consult her if I need legal counsel in the future.

More of a Friend...

I hired Rachel to help me with a very personal and emotional matter. She was extremely professional, easy to contact and dedicated to my case... a real go-getter. The best!

She is THE ONE YOU NEED.

If you run into a legal issue she is the one to go to. Lots of good qualities, but in a nutshell, she is intelligent, knowledgeable, extremely prompt. Very easy to work with. Definitely recommend.

Excellent Attorney- would hire again!

Rachel helped me through a difficult situation I had with my employer. It was very stressful for me but she always kept me informed and did her best to ease my mind. Because of Rachel, I was able to negotiate a settlement that was beneficial to me and allowed me to keep my current position.

Satisfied client

Novice and lacks empathy

I found Rachel to be lacking empathy and at times emails were egoistic. She asked same question multiple times in the email. I quickly realized that she is very novice and skills to get fruitful outcome were subpar. I would not hire her again for employment related cases. Contrary to her firm website which states- aggressive and innovative, She was very very passive and average.
