The Plaintiffs filed suit against OSUWMC, alleging that OSUWMC violated the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) by failing to pay all hourly employees overtime, as a result of a timeclock rounding practice ... . The lawsuit alleged that the time clocks consistently rounded clock-in and clock-out times in favor of OSUWMC and resulted in unpaid overtime wages for hourly workers. After several years of litigation, the Plaintiffs and Class Counsel settled the case for $4,000,000.00. The proceeds of the settlement were distributed among the Plaintiffs and those hourly employees who received a Notice and Claim Form and decided to opt-in to the lawsuit.
