Attorney Brevda's Legal History
Mr. Brevda began his legal career with a large defense firm where he defended insurance companies and nursing homes. After gaining this valuable experience, Michael switched over in 2011 and began exclusively representing wrongfully injured Plaintiffs. In 2012, Michael became a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum after serving as lead counsel in a case where the Plaintiff was awarded in excess of $1 million. Mr. Brevda was named in Florida Trend Magazine “Top Lawyers of Florida” in 2013 and has been listed as a Legal Elite “Up and Comer” by Florida Trend Magazine multiple times. He was recognized in 2014 as one of Florida’s “Top 40 Under 40” Plaintiff lawyers by the National Trial Lawyers Association and a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers Magazine. Michael is also an Eagle Member in the Florida Justice Association and a contributor to the AAJ’s Nursing Home Litigation Group. A native of South Florida, Mr. Brevda earned his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Florida and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. While at UF, Michael was chosen for membership in Florida Blue Key and was inducted into the University of Florida Hall of Fame.
