James Samuel Werter

Just wow, he must have paid a 'mint' to have my 1st review removed.. not so kosher! The 'Werter' is nobody I would ever advise utilizing. Last year he sat in on a dispute between me and my adopted daughter (litigation to put the condo I initially paid for in her name). The only problem was and sti...ll is, she still owes me approximately $10,000.00. To date, she still has not paid what she owes. Even the 'state litigator' stated Cecelia would never pay. The 'Werter' did not listen to her and caused a family calamity. I even have a file box of her history of theft, lying, manipulation and even a test illustrating her Borderline Personality Disorder as well as being a pathological liar. But did Werter use this telling information, no! He did not even want to see it. Seriously the first report by Rex Cowdry and Elaine Purpel explained in detail all of Cecelia's deficits. Again, an attorney who turns away pertinent information on a case should have his license revoked! Part 1. Cecelia Henick wanted me to pay for her attorney. - I was taken aback by this unbelievable move. Part 2. Werter thought he did a great job admittedly I did too. But sadly to say Cecelia paid me nothing. Part 3 . Werter's boss must have had to pay a mint to have my 1st review of Werter and his firm removed (reminiscent of the 'strawman' in the Wizard of Oz. Part 3. So Cecelia Henick sued for the title, which took over a year to come to fruition. Part 4. I just put it into her name. Part 5. The new beginning. Part 6. A new suit Part 7. Reporting James Samuel Werter to the state bar. Despite ‘nice’ emails during litigation between Cecelia and myself, there is a new battle on the front, the battle of ‘Werter and probably malpractice.’

Mr. Werter was hired by my ex spouse in order to expedite our divorce. I found him to be informative, communicative, and having a genuine empathy for both myself, my ex and our children. Even though he had little to do work wise, (my ex and I voluntarily went through mediation and hashed out our a...greement without legal consultation) and had no contact with me until our court hearing, he was on point right from the start. And the thing that impressed me the most was that, desite representing me, he was inclusive of my ex in the process too. Divorce is hard enough, so it was appreciated that there were no adversarial undertones.
