William Lewis

William Lewis is an attorney in the Morgan & Morgan Business Trial Group. William concentrates his practice on business litigation and has successfully represented clients in a wide-variety of cases involving business torts, contract disputes, employment disputes, securities, and shareholder derivative claims, among others. He regularly handles cases in state court, federal court, and arbitration forums throughout Florida. William is experienced at litigating business cases on a contingency-fee basis and has a track-record of significant recoveries.

William’s FINRA arbitration practice focuses on representing investors who have been damaged due to broker fraud, misrepresentation, and mismanagement. Before practicing law, William developed an extensive understanding of the securities markets while receiving an MBA in finance and securities analysis and working at a hedge fund. William’s in-depth knowledge of both the brokerage industry and the securities laws allow him to effectively advocate on behalf of defrauded investors.

Prior to joining the Business Trial Group, William practiced law at a national firm where he prosecuted large-scale class actions on behalf of businesses and individuals. He also interned at the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Tampa, FL and the Eighth Judicial Circuit State Attorney’s Office. William graduated with honors from Colgate University and the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where he was a member of the Florida Journal of Law and Public Policy.
