Former Immigration Judge - Former immigration trial attorney. I have presided over thousands of immigration court proceedings throughout eighteen years as a judge. As a trial attorney with the then Immigration and Naturalization Service, I prosecuted thousands of cases and assisted in training of INS personnel. As an attorney in private practice I litigated numerous cases before local and federal courts and was in charge of federal appeals to the Circuit Court of Appeals for the First Circuit where I briefed and handled oral argument for between fifty to seventyfive cases.
