Professional, courteous, honest and proficient !!!
Mr. Proctor repereated me in a dog bite case and he got ALL of my fines dismissed with only CS to be served. He was always on top of my case and gave it the attention it called for. I will highly recommmend him to anyone facing criminal charges. He will get the job done!
Nothing prepares you for a criminal defense practice like prosecuting. My years of prosecuting in Gwinnett County and prior experience in Forsyth and DeKalb counties and in Florida have left me with a wealth of knowledge and strong set of skills that I use to help reach the right conclusion to my clients' cases.
I spent two and a half years as an Assistant Solicitor-General in Gwinnett County where I handled literally hundreds of DUI cases. My experience prosecuting these cases is invaluable in evaluating and defending you.
Auto accidents, slip and falls, and other such cases can leave you with a lot of questions and a lot of aches and pains. A good legal team can alleviate a lot of your worries by taking on the insurance companies on your behalf.
Whether it is a civil lawsuit issue or an ordinance violation, you want an animal lover handling your case; someone who understands that your pet is family.
Helping people find middle ground and solve their problems has been a natural skill that I have been developing all my life. Now that I am in private practice, I look forward to putting that skill to use to help people resolve their disputes without the high cost of trial proceedings.
Zach is a former DUI prosecutor in Gwinnett County. Zach was the lead prosecutor in Division Six of the State Court of Gwinnett County where he prosecuted thousands of DUI cases. Having passed the Georgia Police Standardized Field Sobriety Training course as well as attending the Prosecuting Attorney Council's DUI Training, Zach has the unique ability to view DUI cases from the prosecutor's perspective. Rick Ryczek recognized Zach's professionalism and excellent trial skills as a prosecutor and eventually invited Zach to join the Ryczek Firm, P.C. in October of 2011. In September 2012, Zach realized a lifelong dream by opening his own solo practice, Procter Law, P.C..
Growing up in an Air Force family, Zach called 7 states 'home' before high school when his family settled in Gainesville, Georgia. Zach earned dual degrees at Georgia Tech and ran for the State House of Representatives while attending college. After graduation, Zach worked on Capitol Hill in Washington DC as a legislative assistant to Congressman Max Burns. Zach earned his law degree from Florida State University (Juris Doctorate) in 2008, and he continues to work in politics by consulting for local judicial campaigns.Â
Zach lives in Lawrenceville with his wife, Ashley, a high school English teacher, their infant daughter, Kaelyn, and their beagle, Callie. Zach’s hobbies include brewing his own beer and playing hockey.Â

A Very Straight Forward - No nonsense approach- Appreciated His Honesty
When it comes to help with a Traffic Violation, Zach is your man.
I had a difficult situation, and I appreciated the immediate help I received from Zach Procter.
Where other attorney's just gave me a long list of choices, Zach gave me the short list and some very good suggestions on how to proceed.
His approach was spot-on and his counseling worked as planned.
I am happy with our out-come and endorse Zachary whole-heartedly.
Good luck with your situation, as you are researching lawyers....
but have confidence in working with Zach.

I would definitely recommend Zack for your case. I was able together my DUI reduced to a Reckless Driving. He was willing and able to go to trial but I felt the risk and expenses were not worth it. Choose Zack and you will be very satisfied!!!

Easy to Talk To
I recently spoke to Zachary and he was patient, kind and very easy to talk to. I am maneuvering my way through a Shoplifting charge and his written guides helped me understand the process. When I spoke to him, he patiently walked me through the steps and guided me to the best of his ability. I wholeheartedly recommend contacting him and contracting his services if you are in need. Lawyers have a bad reputation and I was hesitant to reach out to one, but he made the process easy and painless. Highly recommended!

Review for Attorney Zachary Procter
Mr. Procter was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Even when things got a little tricky he worked to get it all resolved very quickly. I felt confident having him represent me and my case.

Great representation
I feel that I was excellently represented by this lawyer, and I ended up pleading guilty to a DUI--obviously not the outcome I wanted. My case involved an accident resulting from bad weather. No one was injured, but when the police arrived I admitted to having a few drinks. I refused a breathalizer and was arrested. Basically, it was a case that could have easily gone either way. Throughout the process, Zach explained every detail of what was going on, and what was likely to happen, answering all my questions about implications for various decisions. Zach worked hard to get it reduced to a reckless driving, but in the end the prosecution felt that they had a solid case. I pleaded guilty, but I have the piece of mind that I made this decision with full knowledge of the possible outcomes, namely what I would have risked by going to trial, and that I got the best possible outcome given the situation. In addition, Zach was able to work with the prosecution to minimize the penalties. None of that would have happened without his representation. Each case is unique, and it's good to know that your attorney takes into account all variables, including personal circumstances and wishes. (It's not often as simple as winning or losing.) I feel like I got that from Zach. In short, I would definitely hire this attorney if I had to do it all over again.

couldnt ask for anything more
Zach was recommended to me by one of my customers that came into my restaurant for lunch one day. I over heard her conversation with her lunch-mate and realized very quickly that she was a lawyer. I just received my second dui at the time and very stressed out and confused.i didn't know what lawyer to go with so I asked for her recommendations. She gave me the ryzick firm`s number and I set up a consultation. I came in an spoke to zach. He made me feel so much better about my situation and told me not to give up but fight this case as hard as I can.i really didn't have that much money and didn't even think I would be able to afford a lawyer. Zach informed me that they can put me on a payment plan. So i signed the contract. My case was a little complicated and I knew Zach would have his hands full. We prolonged the case for almost a year and there wasn't a month that I didn't hear from zachs office.they kept me informed with everything that was going on and I was never in the dark about my case. Zach was real honest with me since day one and told me that this might be a difficult case to beat with it being my second dui within five yrs. But he never once gave me the impression that he wasn't giving it his all and trying his hardest to beat this. We finally went to court yesterday morning and my dui got dropped to reckless driving. I couldn't be happier and am so grateful to Zach. He saved my life. I was looking at 90 days in jail and two yrs of license suspension including the classes and probation and the fines and everything else. I owe Zach so much for his efforts and his hard work with my case. He's not just a lawyer he's a human being and he understood exactly have scared I was if I got convicted and he was there for me to answer an questions and help with any concerns. He's a wonderful lawyer and if anyone experiences what I did with my dui, Zach is the one to go with. Thank you so much for everything zach , words cant explain how grateful I am to you.

Compassionate and Knowledgeable Attorney
Back in December 2011 I was arrested for a DUI. I called and made several office visits with over 10 attorneys. There was something about Zach that just made it feel like the best decision and I retained him. I am very glad that Zach represented me for this charge. He is very compassionate, knowledgeable about DUI's and the laws and is GREAT with following-up and answering any questions during the process. His office always forwarded me correspondence via email and hard copy to keep me in the loop. Zach was able to get my DUI dropped down to a Reckless Driving Charge. He was able to do this in record timing. I am very happy with the outcome of the case. I would highly recommend Zach to anyone looking for an attorney who cares about his clients and knows the law.

Not What I expected in a BAD way
I am very disappointed with Zach. I read all the reviews and this is mainly why I hired him to help me with my DUI. But boy was I wrong to trust the reviews. I tried numerous times to reach Zach but NEVER got my questions answered and NEVER was called back in a timely manner. I understand that he is busy but 3 WEEKS to return my call is RIDICULOUS!!!!! SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY AND GO WITH SOMEONE ELSE!!!!

I'm sorry that you were disappointed. I always try to return calls as soon as possible, but it is possible that I could have missed a call, and for that I apologize.

BEWARE!!
I have been trying to contact the Procter Law Firm since October 2020 as my case is still outstanding for the past year and a half. The last contact that I had with this law firm is that the case has reached a settlement. I have been trying to call Mr. Procter but could not be reached. I have left numerous voicemails, emails, and also went to the physical location found on Google at 242 Culver St S #200, Lawrenceville, GA 30046 but unfortunately the office space belongs to a company named PDI Purchasing. This is extremely unprofessional and it would be courteous for Mr. Procter to return my call. I do not recommend this law firm for your legal needs as they don't even care about their clients.
