Andrew Fiddes, a National Trial Lawyers Association "Top 100 Trial Lawyer," is a courtroom tested and proven former senior prosecutor. He is a skilled trial attorney with more than 15 years of experience who proudly represents clients throughout Fulton, Gwinnett, Cobb and DeKalb Counties with DUI and Criminal Defense cases.
Born in Illinois but raised in California and Florida, Andrew attended Mercer University in Macon, Georgia, where he earned Juris Doctor, Master of Business Administration, and Bachelor of Arts degrees. During his time at Mercer Law School, Andrew represented his school as the Captain of the Client Consultation Competition Team and served as a law clerk for a Judge in the Superior Court of Bibb County.
Subsequently hired as a prosecutor in DeKalb County, Andrew Fiddes spent more than five years handling every aspect of criminal cases from the initial investigation and interviewing of witnesses to the verdict of a jury at trial. Andrew was lead prosecutor on several notable vehicular homicide cases, of local and national celebrities in DUI matters, and handled thousands of DUI, drug, domestic violence, weapons and theft cases. Additionally, Andrew Fiddes represented the State of Georgia on numerous cases before the Georgia Court of Appeals and served as an instructor in DUI and domestic violence cases at the Georgia Public Safety Training Center for law enforcement officers statewide. It was during this time that he was named a senior prosecutor.
In 2006, after also serving as an Assistant City Solicitor in Fulton County, Andrew Fiddes opened The Fiddes Law Firm. Andrew provides for his clients considerable trial experience with hands-on attention, having tried more than 100 jury and non-jury trials. His trial cases have included DUIs, armed robbery, burglary, domestic violence, drug offenses, theft, crimes against law enforcement officers, firearm crimes, and more.
In 2013 and 2014, Andrew also served as a lead defense attorney in the largest criminal prosecution in the history of the State of Georgia: the Atlanta Public Schools cheating scandal. The prosecution of Andrew Fiddes' client, involving dozens of prosecutors, over 2,500 witness and one million pages of documents, was able to be resolved without a conviction and the client retaining her teaching credentials. Whether it is the largest prosecution in Georgia's history with dozens of prosecutors or a prosecution involving only one prosecutor, the aggressive defensive strategies employed by Andrew Fiddes pay dividends for his clients.
With his experience as a former senior prosecutor, Andrew Fiddes has an inside knowledge of the prosecution's approach which enables him to better defend his clients. He has aggressively defended individuals who have been charged with crimes ranging from DUI offenses to Armed Robbery and has achieved a highly impressive success rate for his clients with a 100% record of success in the Georgia Court of Appeals. Andrew Fiddes believes each criminal defense or DUI case is unique, which requires a personally tailored defense that keeps the client fully informed every step of the process in a highly proactive and inclusive process.
The results of Andrew Fiddes' legal abilities speak for themselves. First, The National Trial Lawyers Association named Andrew as one of their "Top 100 Trial Lawyers" in 2014. Also, the Avvo named Andrew Fiddes as a top "Client's Choice" for DUI and Criminal Defense cases and gave him a perfect "10" rating, reflecting the wide acclaim for his abilities from other attorneys in the community and his clients.

I don’t know how someone can have such a falsely inflated profile. There are plenty of attorneys out there who will actually do a good job for you, and no, Mr. Fiddes did not pay me to leave this review.

Highly unreliable. Hired for a DUI case told him my story. He said he would fight. Once he had my money he ignored me until the court date, and then urged me to take a plea deal. Do yourself a favor and hire someone else

I hired the Fiddes firm based on mailers I received in the mail about a recent case I had. It was a Misdemeanor Obstruction case and I did not want to go in not represented. He worked diligently on my case and made sure that the outcome was one that I was pleased with. I would highly recommend him b...
