Former Senior Assistant District Attorney with major case experience now available to fight for you!
After law school, I began my career in 2007 in one of the best places to start practicing as a trial lawyer, the Gwinnett County Solicitor-General's Office. I was thrown into a jury trial courtroom immediately and have been a trial attorney ever since. I gained significant experience as a prosecutor handling a high volume of cases and successfully tried case after case before juries. My work in that office led to my hiring by the Gwinnett County District Attorney's Office in 2011. Again, I gained significant jury trial experience as the lead prosecutor in all manner of felony offenses.
In 2017 I decided to "hang my own shingle" and start my own office, something I have wanted to do since law school. In the nine and a half years I prosecuted I was lead counsel on a much higher volume of cases then I ever would have had the opportunity to handle in private practice. I got the equivalent of many more years of experience in that role. My mission is to do everything I can as an attorney to help people who need a high quality attorney for their case.
I take serious injury and wrongful death civil cases. Some of the cases that stand out the most from my time as a prosecutor are the complex vehicular homicide and serious injury cases, and other cases where innocent people were seriously hurt or killed. My experience transitions well into civil representation of persons who need someone who can litigate those matters on their behalf.
I also use my years of experience in the criminal justice system to help people facing criminal charges. Criminal cases keep me in the courtroom on a regular basis and I enjoy practicing criminal law. I am here to help good people who need an attorney to go to bat for them.
I know how to try a case before a jury. That is a skill that many proclaim having, but where few actually have significant experience doing it. I would be happy to consult with you for your serious injury, wrongful death, or criminal case.
