I AM A SURVIVOR & YOU CAN BE ONE TOO!

When I first sat down with Morgan the fear of what I was about too do was full of uncertainties. I was recovering from neck surgery that put me out of work for months. My bills did not stop coming but a paycheck was no longer. My credit card debt crept up on me from taken out cash advances to stop th...e phone calls. I was robbing Peter to pay Paul. I was current on all bills except the house of cards was starting to collapse. After about 1 hour I started to see some hope where there had been none. Long story short. The law office of John Orcutt's did everything they promised and then some. That was back in 2017. My case was a chapter 13 for 60 months. I was able to make the payment the Federal Courts had ordered me to pay. In fact my case ended 5 months ahead of the 60. My truck is paid off, I owe very little on my home. But the main thing I now have my affairs in order. It seems like everyday I am getting credit card offers. But never again will I allow that addiction to take back my life. No I am not getting paid for this review. I am a previous customer. If you are thinking about your debt, then more than likely you may want to give an bankruptcy attorney a call to weigh your options. I am a SURVIVOR!!!!!!

not happy

in 2008,i was layed off from my job and did the not smart thing to do, i took my 401k out to live on.in 2014 the irs and the state siezed my bank account and told me i would go to jail. we went to john orcutt and they said they could help us and we proceded to file ch.13. these taxes were over 10 tho...usand dollars and were the primary reason we filed. we paid these people 240.00 a month for 3 years and as soon as we were discharged my bank account was seizes again by the state revenue and 2 weeks later the irs sent me 2 certified letters of intent to levy property, now i owe intrest on way over 10 thousand dollars, so this bankruptcy did absolutly nothing but disperse 4064.00 to lawer fees that i could have went toward a payment plan to the irs if we were not lied to by this firm. if they had told us up front they could not help us i would have not filed. the post case parallegal was not helpful at all as was rude to me through a email i sent, which i still have. i just set up a payment with the irs and the state and i will be paying more that i payed this firm and twice as long....

Disappointed

Unfortunately I made a terrible mistake one year ago January 2017 by filling Bankruptcy with the Raleigh office. At the time I was about to lose my home due to job loss. I thought my only choice was to file Bankruptcy to keep from losing my home I worked so hard to purchase. During the process the p...aralegal stated to me I would be paying $1036 monthly as my finances would NOT allow me to pay and I quote A PENNY more. That being said the monthly amount increased 2 more times. Upon going to court wasting a whole day right before I went in to see the Judge my attorney told me the amount just increased. This was the first time I ever laid eyes on him. The paralegal assured me several times during each meeting my SUV (which has my daughter's name on it) would definitely not be included. Low and be hold it is included and now I cannot refinance. Also the paralegal stated again several times if I changed my mind at any time everything would go back as it was meaning things on my credit report, that was also a lie. Everything was wiped away and credit cards are closed which I cannot reopen them but still have to pay. The bank that has my car loan will not put it on my credit report due to it being included in the Bankruptcy. It is not fair and absolutely not right that I was lied to. My credit is ruined thanks to the Raleigh office. Someone needs to fix the issue with my SUV. That's a terrible thing to do to a person who was only asking for help so she could keep her home.

The Biggest Scam Ever!!

This John T. Orcutt, as well as their crony, the so-called "trustee" Joseph A. Bledsoe, are the biggest bunch of crooks, scammers, and greedy liars I have EVER known. Let me tell you just how these CROOKS ripped me off. In February of 2015, I decided that it would be in my best interests to file for ...bankruptcy. I decided to retain this John T. Orcutt as my bankruptcy attorney. After several months of paperwork and pencil-pushing, my Chapter 13 Bankruptcy was finalized in June of 2015. Now, I had already started making monthly payments of $762.00 in May. After making my third $762.00 payment in August, I decided that these payments were too high and that I simply could not afford them. So, I agreed to let this bankruptcy be dismissed. The dismissal was finalized on Sept. 24, 2015. The very next day, I called the office of this John T. Orcutt to inquire about just how the payments that I had made to this so-called "Chapter 13 Trustee" had been disbursed to my creditors because it was my intention to contact my creditors personally to see if I could continue to pay them, just without this bankruptcy. To my utter and everlasting shock, mortification, humiliation, horror, and disgust, I was informed by this John T. Orcutt that not one CENT of the money that I had sent in to this "trustee" had been disbursed to my creditors. When I demanded to know where my money was, these CROOKS told me that they had basically POCKETED ALL of the money I had been sending in for so-called "attorney's fees". Can you believe this crap? This is criminally negligence at the very least, if not outright THEFT. Their "day of reckoning" however, is COMING.

"get the facts"

Like the commercials say folks--- Please Please get the facts about bankruptcy from the professionals, not friends and family... the entire staff did a great job from start to finish, it was no where near as hard as I thought it would be and the staff was available at all times to answer questions a...nd check numbers etc etc... the paperwork involved has been so well laid out and simplified by the firm I wish I had done this a couple of years earlier... so please, if your in over your head--- and you know if you are--- go see these folks, they really are going to help you... and best of luck to all of you... dale
