Travis is a graduate of Cary High School, N.C. State University and the University of Georgia School of Law.
He is a Board Certified Specialist in Consumer Bankruptcy Law by the N.C. State Bar Board of Legal Specialization and the American Board of Certification.
Since 2000, Travis has filed over 6,000 bankruptcy cases and represented individuals and companies in a wide range of contested matters and adversary proceedings.
He has also represented parties on appeals taken from the bankruptcy court to the U.S. District Court and the 4th Circuit Court of Appeals.
He has spoken at legal seminars and conferences on topics such as exemption planning, means testing, tax dischargeability, and family law issues arising in bankruptcy cases.
The most fulfilling and significant part of Travis' workday is interacting with clients and prospective clients.
Travis is happily married to Joy Sasser and is blessed to be the father of four children.
