Expertise Combined With Integrity and Efficiency

Finding yourself in need of an attorney because of discrimination and/or retaliation issues with an employer can truly be upsetting. After a lot of soul-searching and reading up on discrimination and retaliation, I knew I had to pursue the matter, because what was happening just wasn't right. I did a... thorough search online and decided upon Andrew Dansicker because of his extensive experience in working for both employers and employees, the reviews by those he has helped and his peers. as well as the professional high quality of his web-site. It was definitely the right decision. He was easy to talk to, clearly explained things from both my employer's and my perspective and let me know what he believed he could do for me. I found him to be straightforward, honest and down to earth. I found the fees to be reasonable. Thanks to Mr. Dansicker, I more than doubled (almost tripled) the offer my employer wanted to give me to resolve the issue. And for that I am grateful. I recommend him highly!

Be confident this is the right guy for the job!

I hired Mr. Dansicker to help with labor discrimination from a huge healthcare institution in Baltimore. He promptly returned every email or message I had with questions about my case, gave excellent advice on how to deal with their bullying tactics and represented me in a way that I truly felt I ha...d someone in my corner who understood the details of the situation. During the settlement conference, he refused to bow down to them and even got them to settle for an amount higher than he typically sees. I am positive he could help you as much as he helped me!

Equitable Solution

Andrew was recommended by a colleague to help me work through an amendment to an existing employment contract with a non-compete clause attached to it. I believed the original signed agreement, which had no termination date, to be detrimental to my long term future and I needed to make changes to the... agreement after I had already resigned from my employer. The non-compete clause would have effectively prevented me from working in my field of work for an extended period of time leaving me with no means to obtain a source of income via my training and education during this time frame. Andrew reviewed my existing contract, provided his assessment of my legal standing under Maryland law and worked with me to plan a course of action. Andrew negotiated an equitable solution for me with my ex-employer and did so within a relatively short period of time. I am very satisfied with his assistance and guidance toward the resolution of my particular situation and would recommend Andrew for those with employment contract / non-compete concerns.

Non-Compete

I engaged Andrew to represent me in a non-compete contract issue. He did an outstanding job in explaining the law related to this type of contract. His persistence in working with the opposing counsel, whose client was repeatedly extremely slow to respond, is credit to our ability to have been able... to work out a reasonable settlement. My only regret is not having worked with Andrew to review the potential situation prior to entering into the non-compete. All around - a great job.

Highly professional

Andrew runs his own practice so he doesn't farm you off to junior associates. He listens, processes the information, gives guidance and then follows up on what he says he'll do in a very timely fashion. While very professional in his approach, he is also friendly, human and easy to talk to. We worked... together on a work severance situation that was highly emotionally charged. He reduced my stress by stating clearly how he could help and his recommended approach for my response, based on his experience with other similar cases. He made a painful life event more manageable.
