stay away

To give the best review of Mr. Dansicker and his office would be only two words, STAY AWAY. The EEOC’s determination against the company that wrongfully terminated my employment, stated they retaliated against me, and as well, denied a reasonable medical accommodation. Mr. Dansicker talked a goo...d game in the initial consultation so I hired him to represent me in arbitration and or court if necessary. I put total trust in him and told him so. After this process started, he told me that I sent him too much evidence, but yet he didn’t point out any if this evidence or law violations to the company during the negotiation, even when the company said they did nothing wrong. He told me I was unreasonable and demanding when I questioned the 13-page agreement the company wrote, and my concerns that there were virtually no protections with many of my concerns. When the company violated the requirements of the agreement by not sending me tax documents, he took the side of the company when I notified him of this breach of contract. He even lied to me about the frequency of contact with the company. To date I am still out a lot of money due to this breach of the agreement, and appears that I will have to pay to even get what was due to me per the agreement. With this experience it seems Mr. Dansicker is only interested in a quick buck and is willing to throw his client under the bus to get that buck. STAY AWAY

Good Attorney

I have recently had the opportunity to work with Mr. Dansicker. His firm picked up where the EEOC left off, and as my representative, he negotiated a good settlement. He kept me well informed with anything that was happening, and with the negotiation aspect, when I would deny an offer; he would ...go back and fight for a little more. All in all I am very happy with Mr. Dansicker and the outcome of his representation. I would recommend him to anyone that needs a good attorney.

Lawyer Wanted $300 To Talk!

I have a clear cut case--piles of evidence that my superior lied about me in print on evaluations and also proof that he ignored the ADA and did not provide the reasonable accommodations I had requested and had had approved. This attorney could have made a pile off my case. But greed replaced commo...n sense--he wanted me to pay a $300 fee just to talk to him and then a retainer. Uhhhh, this is a WRONGFUL TERMINATION case. I HAVE NO MONEY BECAUSE I WAS FIRED UNJUSTLY. So where on earth do I come up with all this extra money to fight for money? If I had money, I wouldn't need him! He is another money hungry piranha in a sea of shark-infested corporate water; I'm just a very small fish with a legitimate claim.

I am sorry you are frustrated, but your frustration is misplaced. We are a very small law firm -- only two attorneys -- with a stellar reputation that is contacted by nearly 400 potential new clients every month (nearly all of whom tell us that they have a "clear-cut case" that will win a "pile" of money). While our initial telephone intake interview is free, if we have determined that you might have a legitimate case, we require a $300 fee for a legal analysis consultation, where we meet with you for an hour or longer, review all of your documents and give you our legal analysis of the strength of your case and your best options moving forward. If we are interested in representing you moving forward, we may offer a full contingency fee agreement, or a hybrid agreement that includes a reduced hourly fee and a reduced contingency fee. Unfortunately, we simply cannot afford to provide free in-person meetings with every potential client, as we would never have time to get any work completed. You certainly would not go to see a doctor to find out if you have a medical problem and not expect to pay for his or her time, so why would you expect anything different from an attorney? The reality is that you get what you pay for. . . .

Expertise Combined With Integrity and Efficiency

Finding yourself in need of an attorney because of discrimination and/or retaliation issues with an employer can truly be upsetting. After a lot of soul-searching and reading up on discrimination and retaliation, I knew I had to pursue the matter, because what was happening just wasn't right. I did a... thorough search online and decided upon Andrew Dansicker because of his extensive experience in working for both employers and employees, the reviews by those he has helped and his peers. as well as the professional high quality of his web-site. It was definitely the right decision. He was easy to talk to, clearly explained things from both my employer's and my perspective and let me know what he believed he could do for me. I found him to be straightforward, honest and down to earth. I found the fees to be reasonable. Thanks to Mr. Dansicker, I more than doubled (almost tripled) the offer my employer wanted to give me to resolve the issue. And for that I am grateful. I recommend him highly!

Be confident this is the right guy for the job!

I hired Mr. Dansicker to help with labor discrimination from a huge healthcare institution in Baltimore. He promptly returned every email or message I had with questions about my case, gave excellent advice on how to deal with their bullying tactics and represented me in a way that I truly felt I ha...d someone in my corner who understood the details of the situation. During the settlement conference, he refused to bow down to them and even got them to settle for an amount higher than he typically sees. I am positive he could help you as much as he helped me!

"I endorse this lawyer. I strongly endorse Andy. The older I get, the fewer attorneys do I find who are willing to represent plaintiffs in employment actions. Frankly, unless you can win your cases, you will not be successful. Andy is a strong and successful advocate and effective counsel that I feel very comfortable referring cases."

"I hold Andrew Dansicker in very high regard; I have referred him work, have worked with him on one complex unemployment appeal and have consulted his opinion on several matters. He deserves his high rating here on Avvo; his firm is excellent. I wish him and his staff continued success and would encourage anyone to consider his firm in any labor law matter. I first became aware of his practice in detail around 2009 and my regard for him and his practice continues to this day."
