Whether these were handling intake and medical requests, or litigation work, I have handled over 2,000 auto accident claims.     Consumer Bankruptcy is often an option for individuals who have fallen on difficult financial times, and cannot see the light at the end of the tunnel. It's a clean way to clear the slate, and turn over a new chapter in your financial life. The adverse affects on a petitioner's credit are usually much less than the adverse affect of trying to ride out the negative storm with their current credit status with delinquent bills, etc.

I take a great deal of time and pay close attention to all of the important details in these matters. I take on very few of these cases, so there is a rigid evaluation process prior to my taking on such a case, but consultations are always 100% free.

    I am one of the few lawyers in Cecil County who will regularly take on and personally handle work injury claims. Most of these types of cases are referred out to Baltimore City Counsel. While those referrals do result in competent representation, I find that many times an injured worker wants to know that they have a local attorney they can count on. I take pride in this.

Before law school, I spent nearly a decade handling a variety of personal injury matters from auto accidents to work injuries. While in school, I participated in the criminal practice clinic, where I handled over 200 cases in the District Court, motions hearings in the Circuit, and a Jury trial.

My office and I have now resolved close to $25million in injury settlements for our clients, and that number continues to grow. in 2019 I became a certified NFLPA player agent, and also represent players with their on field and off field contract and appearance matters.

I believe in working closely with my clients, and keeping them "in the loop" on their cases through regular communication. I feel that it creates a great relationship, and helps significantly in preparation and investigation of the case, whether that case be a criminal matter or an injury case.

When handling auto accident claims, I prefer to personally investigate the facts, interview witnesses, and visit the accident scene myself to adequately prepare for potential trial. Many cases settle, all cases i handle are prepared for trial just in case

My go to guy for almost anything.
I picked up a serious ticket some time ago that was a bunch of BS. I thought I was just going to go to court myself, but Joe let me know that he'd help me out and I'm glad I listened to him. He did a ton of ground work ahead of time to make things happen with the state's attorney so everything was easy. great job.

great lawyer!
I was charged with a 2nd degree assault charge that happened to be a case where I was actually the victim and acted in self defense. Jobeth Bowers took the time too hear out the whole side of the story along with all of its twists and turns. He was very easy to get ahold of and worked very hard to insure that my case was handled promptly and properly. I would recommend him too anyone in need of a lawyer! :)

Best Lawyer I Could Have Found
I could not have asked for a better attorney then Jobeth Bowers he was very personable and friendly and very professional at the same time when i came to him it was for one reason and he ended up helping me with a few other issues i had and told me he would not be done with me until all of my issues were taking care of he was also always available when i had questions and always kept me updated we he found things out i would recommend that anybody looking for an attorney that is very thorough and want to get and do the best for you then you should call or email him you will not be disappointed but i am quite sure very pleased with his work.

Worked Quick - Great Results!
After an auto accident, had a lot of trouble getting the insurance to work with me. I went to see Mr. Bowers on a recommendation from a friend. He helped to explain everything in a way that I understood it (insurance can sometimes be difficult to navigate!). Additionally, he helped maximize my payout so I was able to afford to replace the vehicle I lost and cover my medical bills from getting checked out at the Emergency Room. Was very knowledgeable for someone licensed less than a year and incredibly helpful. Answered all my questions, and took an interest in me as his client. Very Satisfied! Thank you for you help!

Excellent, Knowledgeable Attorney for almost everything!
I got a traffic citation for going 79 in a 50. I was facing a big fine and a lot of points that would have ruined my perfect driving record, caused my insurance to raise through the roof and would have lost several state certifications I have. I called Jobeth who was very knowledgeable, advised me of the possible penalties if convicted but made me feel very at ease and comfortable that when I hired him he would have everything under control. I paid him a very reasonable fee and he got the citation completely dropped. He also advised me in other areas of the law in which I had concerns and is extremely knowledgeable. If you are looking for an attorney who knows what they are doing and is willing to work with you and work for you as hard as they can then look no further. Attorney Bowers can handle your legal needs just like he did mine! You will not find a more dedicated attorney to their clients!

Bad customer service
I was a client of Bowers Law and I would not reccommend anyone to this firm. I had a terrible time with the communication. The front desk was horrible about giving and taking messages and Jobeth would never respond back to emails! However Tracey did awesome in court and Monique and Sydney were fantastic. Jobeth never carried a professional image. You will be told anything you want to hear during intake than after you sign on with the firm it's down hill from there. The owner will act like he is going to be with you thru the whole thing but truth is after he sells the firm to you, your case is handed over to another lawyer in the firm and he will no longer deal with you. I expressed issues thru my whole experience and he never dealt with it, even at the end when he had no other choice but to hear me, it was not effective. Terrible customer service. You lost one forever client and I will make sure I spread the word across Cecil county and surrounding areas so no one else falls victim to a terrible experience when handling legal matters.

My opinion
I went to Jobeth Bowers because there are not a lot of lawyers in the Elkton area, unlike other areas in MD, and I thought that moving a bit away from the city would be a plus. I'm sorry to write that my experience was not a satisfactory one as I was all but promised a specific settlement which came in considerably lower. When I asked about litigating the case, I was told that it would be too time consuming. I feel I was forced to accept a smaller settlement than I deserved and had no recourse because I did not feel like my attorney was my advocate.
