I was at my lowest after leaving a job I loved due to continual and increased harassment and discrimination. A few months ago, I found myself being harassed by Senior Management and ultimately / unfairly being placed on a “Performance Improvement Plan” (PIP) with no merit or substantiating evidence. Side Note: A PIP is just a formality to be used to justify your being terminated from your job. Once you are placed on a PIP, your Manager does not have to wait until the end of the PIP to terminate your employment; you can be terminated from your job the day after you are issued the PIP, so time is crucial in the decision that you will need to make Upon contacting Mr. Ingram, he listened to my side of the story and immediately informed my employer that I had retained him as my attorney; this was done within 24 hours which immediately caught the attention of my HR Department and their Legal Counsel.
