Best decision made I hired John Gallagher
I searched for advice on how to present my case at an upcoming hearing and I came across John’s videos on line. John’s advice on hiring a lawyer really hit the spot for me. I visited his website and called. He got back to me within the hour. I met with John at his office and we went over the case. I...

Knowledgeable, but poor customer service
I hired Mr. Gallagher to review a non-compete agreement. He stated that I would be charged $150 for a consultation over the phone and preparation of a letter giving his opinion on the validity of my NCA so I could keep it for my records and show potential future employers if necessary. The initial ...
I will say this - my fee for reviewing any non-compete almost always exceeds $150. I would provide only the most basic guidance for a fee of $150. I would never provide the full gamut of my services on a non-compete for $150. Frankly, I do not recall this gentleman off the top of my head, but I must assume that the review I offered was of an extremely limited nature. That said, I regret that the client felt that i did not honor our arrangement - all client fee proposals are in writing and are sacred to me. John

"Speak softly and carry a big stick"
If you are looking for an attorney that can negotiate in a soft, peaceful and knowledgeable manner while simultaneously exuding the kind of strength that reveals he will not back down from a fight, then John Gallagher is the attorney for you. Since this was my first time experiencing anything like th...

It was not all about money but getting a fair settlement. He always gave solid advice. I sincerely thank him for his concern & expertise. ...

Not someone I would recommend
I was incredibly disappointed in my experience with John Gallagher and his firm. In the beginning John was going to be a crusader for my cause, on principle! (and of course for compensation, let's be realistic) However, once the resistance came from the other party, the crusader spirit quickly waned ...
Well, I am sad to see this. Here is my response. First, I do not crusade on principle, ever. Second, I often consider taking cases subject to learning additional information from the employer. Sometimes, things don't "check out." Third, my style is assertive, honest and straightforward. The author of this comment most assuredly was not a party to any conversations I had with opposing counsel. In fact, my approach with other lawyers is almost always to "catch bees with honey.". Four, I am not a "blamer." Finally, it seems likely that this is a matter I did not put in suit, and the client may have been disappointed in my decision in this regard. I try my best, and sometimes I "fail," and I guess I did here....
"I endorse this lawyer. Attorney Gallagher is very approachable when I have any employment or labor law related questions that come up. He is very knowledgable regarding this area of the law. He has a unique ability to explain these complicated concepts so that they can be understood. Given his approachability, knowledge, and communication skills, he is the go-to guy to get up to date information on labor and employment law cases."
