Best decision made I hired John Gallagher

I searched for advice on how to present my case at an upcoming hearing and I came across John’s videos on line. John’s advice on hiring a lawyer really hit the spot for me. I visited his website and called. He got back to me within the hour. I met with John at his office and we went over the case. I... had verbally resigned from the company but then decided to retire in December 2018 via an email to my supervisors. John was very direct and honest on the likelihood of winning a case when someone quits. At the hearing John was FANTASTIC. The referee made the decision in my favor. I received the ruling by mail the very next day. My advice to anyone going to a hearing is Hire a Lawyer and if possible Hire JOHN GALLAGHER.

"Speak softly and carry a big stick"

If you are looking for an attorney that can negotiate in a soft, peaceful and knowledgeable manner while simultaneously exuding the kind of strength that reveals he will not back down from a fight, then John Gallagher is the attorney for you. Since this was my first time experiencing anything like th...is, I was filled with questions, fear and anxiety. Before finding John, I sought counsel from several other attorneys that actually made me feel worse. Right from the start, John won me over with his charismatic, take charge personality. He is a true professional that cares about his clients and is willing to go the extra mile. I highly recommend John.

Excellent representation!

Mr. Gallagher represented me in a case involving a non-compete/non-solicitation agreement. He kept me informed of each development in my case, he set reasonable expectations as to what I could expect, and he represented my interests aggressively. Ultimately the matter was settled and the outcome exc...eeded my original expectations. I would recommend Mr. Gallagher very highly to anyone looking for legal representation in employment law.

Not someone I would recommend

I was incredibly disappointed in my experience with John Gallagher and his firm. In the beginning John was going to be a crusader for my cause, on principle! (and of course for compensation, let's be realistic) However, once the resistance came from the other party, the crusader spirit quickly waned ...as John realized the case wasn't going to make him "rich." I thought John was knowledgable but I found his style less then professional and basically the opposing lawyers shut down and refused to deal with him because of his incredibly abrasive and argumentative style. I think part of lawyering is knowing your opposition. For John, I think it's tact be damned I'm going to steam roll through everyone and then blame them for being uncooperative retroactively. Unfortunately, in my case, that turned out to be a lousy strategy. The other "reviews" of John are very good but we all know the online review system is fraught with bogus reviewers. Who knows, maybe he is competent, I just didn't see it....

Well, I am sad to see this. Here is my response. First, I do not crusade on principle, ever. Second, I often consider taking cases subject to learning additional information from the employer. Sometimes, things don't "check out." Third, my style is assertive, honest and straightforward. The author of this comment most assuredly was not a party to any conversations I had with opposing counsel. In fact, my approach with other lawyers is almost always to "catch bees with honey.". Four, I am not a "blamer." Finally, it seems likely that this is a matter I did not put in suit, and the client may have been disappointed in my decision in this regard. I try my best, and sometimes I "fail," and I guess I did here....

I found the right Lawyer for the Job

From beginning to end John Gallagher was a pleasure to work with. He was able to meet with me the first time within a day. At the first meeting I found him very easy to talk with He heard what I had to say, was understanding to my facts and feelings and was able to put me at ease by explaining the la...w and my options.John helped me in filing unemployement and diciphering my non compete agreement so I could begin to move forward with my career search. Once negotiations started, John kept me informed and always followed up in a timely manner. In the end he was able to almost double my severence agreement. I would recommend John and his staff to anyone seeking a top knotch employement attorney
