Starting with the receptionist, I felt very comfortable walking into the office of Andres Mejer.I was greeted with a smile and politeness. My first meeting with Andres was such a relief. I was very nervous about the possibility of losing my house to the bank. I was unemployed for about a year due to illness and was 8 months behind on my mortgage. Andres took the time to explain all the possibilities and potential outcomes and made it very clear that my situation is not as bad as I was led to believe by my bank. It took about 2 months to resolve the issue completely. Andres contacted my bank and negotiated a loan modification that reduced my monthly payments from $3,400/month to $1,738/month. I became current on my mortgage and on top of that Andres managed to reduce my interest rate to 2% for 5 years, 3% for the next 5 years and fixed 4% for the remaining of the life of the loan. I am so impressed with Andres and his negotiations skills, he nailed it to perfection. God bless you Andres Mejer, if it wasn't for you I probably would have lost my house and my marriage. Thanks to your diligent work my daughter didn't have to suffer the scars associated with losing the security and place she calls home. I had a good experience with Andres as my lawyer. He was very well dressed and polite. He explained clearly the process and what I should expect in court. He gave me directions to the court house and met me out front the building. I spent less than hour in court - Andres spoke with the prosecutor and shortly after that I was all done and on my way back to work. I was nervous about going to court but he was reassuring and everything went well. I did have to pay a fine, for which he told me to expect that, fortunately no points against my license and that was important to me. Thanks Andres!

Some would say that I took a risk at hiring a wet-behind-the-ears novice immigration attorney in order to vet my U.S. Immigration and Naturalization application. However, Andres proved to be quite knowledgeable and competent. He diligently kept me firmly on track (just as immigration fees were seeing major increases) and was able to streamline things to the extent that I was able to submit all of my materials in a timely fashion, just making the deadlines prior to the fee increases. His thorough attention to detail and periodic follow-up was such that I encountered no major hurdles in the application process; and in what felt like no time at all, I found myself before a Brooklyn judge swearing the oath of fealty to the United States of America. Thanks to Andres, I successfully achieved status just prior to the 2008 general election, and my vote helped to realize the election of current President of the United States of America, Mr. Barack Obama; perhaps the best presidential choice for immigrants and would-be immigrants since former President Ronald Reagan left office. Thank you, Andres Yoav Mejer. Over the past four years, I have been able to travel outside of the U.S.A. with my American passport and without fear. You can't put a price on that comfort.

Scheduled an appointment to see the "attorney" took a day off with a loss of money and drove an hour with my family to see him. No attorney. Only came his scretery who we were told is "happy to answer our questions" the only problem was that she didn't know any of them. The attorney took the day off for a holiday. Didn't care to inform us to reschedule and even sent us a written confirmation hours before our appointment.
