My practice is exclusively focused on consumer bankruptcy.  We offer free consulations to anyone who thinks they may need our services.  We are not a bankruptcy mill.  We are extremely selective in the type of bankruptcy cases we take.  Our focus is on consumers.  We do not take business cases nor do we ever represent creditors.  I try hard to find ways for people to avoid bankruptcy when we can.  The reason I do this is because when a person leaves my office I want them to know that I have been 100 percent honest with them and have given them what I believe to be the best legal advice.  I hope that when someone meets with me and we find a way for them to avoid filing.......I hope that person will send me referrals.  Almost half of my clients come to my office through referrals.    When we file a case,  my staff treats our clients with care and respect.  I personally review and personally file every case that is filed in my office.  I personally attend all chapter 13 meeting of creditors and all confirmation hearings.  I hire other attorneys to attend the Chapter 7 meeting of creditors because it is not possible for me to do so with my schedule.

Excellent customer service
We didn't qualify for Chapter 7 and the lawyer sat with us and showed us how we could pay off over $135,000 in 50 months with Chapter 13. The trustee told us were told we were not going to be able to keep our vehicles. Mr. Kelley called us directly and told us he was going to work in having us keep our vehicles; and we did. Every time I had a question if it wasn't answered immediately, an appointment was scheduled with our designated lawyer. Calls were returned at the appointment time! Staff was friendly.

Can't say enough great things about this team!!
Thanks so much to Jeffrey Kelly and his staff for making this such an easy experience. They were so helpful from the first phone call till the discharge. We like many other people had our concerns and fears about bankruptcy but Mr. Kelly put all those fears at ease the first time we met with him. We had a lot of questions and he was very patient and explained everything so well to us!! We would defiantly recommend this law office to anyone who is in need of a bankruptcy lawyer. Bankruptcy
Jeff and his staff were totally on top of the entire process. I received numerous mails soliciting my business due to a civil court case that was posted. Jeff's letter, along with a handwritten remark on the letter, caught my attention. Once contact was made via email and then phone, a face-to-face was booked within the week. The entire process took less than one month (which included a holiday). He told me what to expect from the first day forward and he was exactly right with his details. He and his Firm made a very difficult, embarrassing, and painful process turn into a very professional and compassionate experience. I worked with him through his Rome office and would definitely recommend him to any of my family, friends and co-workers should the need ever arise.

Excellent law office
Jeff answered all of mine & my husbands questions during our first visit. Anytime we have had an questions, someone from his office is always very quick to respond. Everyone in the firm is very friendly and helpful.

Great law office to work with!
Jeff Kelly's office helped me greatly when I high rock bottom. His staff is very knowledgeable, understanding, and compassionate. Filing bankruptcy seemed like an overwhelming task, however Jeff and his team were very helpful in walking me through every detail. His staff is very kind and are generally great people to work with.

Really knowledgeable staff
I had been going through a really bad spot. Contacted Mr Kellys office they helped resolve my problem in one afternoon and I have to add Mr Kelley contacted me very quickly. You never know what kind of situation life will throw at you, but I am grateful for Mr Kelly, Mr Deets and his whole staff they were great. Kelly did help.

my case was dismissed
The attorney I met with said I made too much for chapter 7 but could file chapter 13. He initially told me my payment would be around $550/ month, however, by the time we filed it was almost double that... this should have been red flag 1. Red flag 2 was no one went over any of the creditors that sent in filings. I looked at the list and didn't recognize half the accounts being paid on. I was told after the fact there was nothing I could do. Covid happened and we ended up having to move and my wife had to get a different vehicle. Our rent increased $700 per month & her car payment was $400. We were somehow expected to maintain that payment. Literally no help from them. I fell behind twice as we simply don't make enough to cover bills, kids college, etc. I found out my case was dismissed, not from my attorney but from a letter from a different lawyer. Once they got their $6,000 they were no where to be found.

Never Called At The Scheduled Time
Called yesterday and set up a phone consultation for 10:30am this morning. Received a reminder text this morning. Then nobody called. Now 2 hours later and still no call. Not a good start. This is a big difference compared to the consultation I had yesterday with Roderick H Martin & Associates who not only called me personally, but called me at 5pm which I'm sure was the end of his day, answered all of my questions thoroughly, never rushed me and was kind, courteous and extremely helpful. I will be going with his firm instead.

Stay Away
I met with Mr. Kelly to file Chapter 7. He assured me everything would be fine,. Not true. After initial meeting I could never get a return call from him. I finally went back to the office but was told he was "working from home". Office staff never offered to help me or take a message. Felt like I interrupted their "party".

Please note there is no name associated with this review. I don't believe it is real. I have spoken with my staff and no one recalls any interaction as described above. I have not spoken with any dissatisfied clients recently and I'm not aware of any issues with any Chapter 7 case.
